With such a confined space to work in, they did a great job protecting
the plants. Not one was damaged. They chipped the small stuff, and left
the logs for us to use in the wood stove.We were very happy with the

Owner came out a few weeks ahead of time and walked the property with me, and gave me a reasonable bid and an appointment. Showed up right on time. They spent several hours working over here; did no damage and cleaned up well. Bucked the firewood into lengths for me, and chipped the rest. Guys were pleasant and were even good-natured about my asking them to climb back up into the big oak, to trim a branch I hadn't pointed out their first trip up.
I paid them according to the bid, and when the owner called later to check whether I was happy with the work, I mentioned that I figured it would be extra, since they'd worked so long. He declined the extra payment.
Oh -- they managed to fell some of the branches right between my growing photinia without damaging it. Now, that was amazing. In fact, everything they cut down fell right where they wanted it to.
