Superior did a great job all-around. They were professional on the scoping, execution, and follow-up. There was one area that we thought was left a little rough, and they immediately reviewed and remedied it the next day. Very responsive. We've recommended them to others, with positive results.

Can’t say enough bad things about them. And I sure cannot imagine who in the world would ever give them an A unless it is a friend or family. Pros: cheap Cons: everything they did was half-assed, they created more problems and more work. Superior was installing a fence two doors down. Their post-hole equipment was parked in front of our house. We were planning to put up a fence so we thought why not see if they would just set the posts for us. Heck, why not have them do the whole fence. The owner had a bunch of kids dig and set the posts. This was just for 42 feet of cattle-panel fence with a gate. Just eight posts. Of the eight posts, only one was where it was supposed to be. Where it should connect to an existing fence, instead of removing the metal T-post, they set the wood post next to it on our neighbor’s property (and cemented the T-post into the ground). The rest of the posts following the property line were all set straddling the property line. It amazes me that it would not occur to them to set the posts on our side of the property line. The corner post was ¾-inch out from being straight over just 4-feet of height. The cement around every post dipped creating a bowl to hold water around the posts. That’s just the opposite of how it should be done. Also, they cut through sprinkler lines in two of the holes. They told my wife which way the lines ran, but incorrectly on both of them. In one hole they exposed two T-s, the wiring below those lines, and another water line below the wires. They put in the post and encased the break in cement. I spent 2 days digging a trench around the two posts. On the one with the multiple lines and T’s, it was impossible to tell what to cut and reconnect. On the third day I finally gave up and dug out the post. It was then I realized that there would have been no way to know which lines to cut and reconnect. If they had not set the post where they had hit multiple lines and an intersection, it would have saved me two days of digging. Worse, the post I had to remove was the one that was planned to hang the gate. Even worse, if they had set that post where they were supposed to, it would not have hit any sprinkler lines. Their proposal said they would set the posts with 80 pounds of cement per post. Of course, the end posts, corner post, and gate posts should have more while the ones within a straight run should have less. The post I had to remove only had cement going down a little more than halfway down the hole. Also, I weighed the 8-foot 4x4 with the cement attached. And the cement had dirt and rock embedded in it. Still, all of it only weighed 63 pounds. So much for 80 pounds of cement per post. Even before I started digging to repair water lines, it was obvious that their work was extremely poor quality. So, when they came back to put up the fence, I fired them and paid for just digging and setting the posts. When I emailed the owner about all this, his response was just that they had told me they don’t take responsibility for hitting water lines. He would not even address all the other issues. So, if you don’t care what your fence looks like or how long it lasts, then Superior Fencing will do a good-enough job for you. As for our experience, it would have been less work and we would have had a better fence if we had not used them at all.

The owners were very honest, professional, trustworthy and easy to work with. I talked to their workers on the day of old fence removal and they were adamant that the owners were great to work for, an attribute I find important in hiring a contractor. They also had other business dealings with the property management company for one of the rentals over my back fence so when the time came to settle up at the completion of the project, they took it upon themselves to bill the property management company for half the cost the shared portion of the fence! Saved me $470 and the hassle of getting them to ante up. Also, their bid was $300 less than other bid I received and $500 less than another.

Nice people, easy to work with. Did what they said they would when they said they would. Did a good job at a reasonable price. As with all contractors, it is best to supervise them at all times to make sure that there are no surprises and/or deviations from plans. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.
