Siskiyou Veterinary Hospital

I'm disappointed in the compassion I received over the phone. It has taken me a couple of weeks to even talk about it. We have been going to Siskiyou Veterinary Hospital for a few years now. They came highly recommended by my son. I realize the day I called was a Saturday, but it was during their normal hours of operation. We normally take our dog with us when we go out of town, but it was not possible on the weekend of January 16th. We had our daughter looking after her. When she called and thought something might be wrong, I immediately called the office. I also realize that 15 years of age is a remarkable life. What I'm upset about is being told that their office was going to close in 30 minutes. I tried to explain the circumstances and that she was possibly dying.. knowing the most humane thing was more than likely euthanasia. I was told they didn't have an appointment until Monday. As I'm crying into the phone, she refers me to someone else. There was no way my dog could be put off until Monday. I'm not sure how I can go back. At least Nestlé was taken care of, just not by them. RIP

I called mid-day on a Friday, they got my dog in who was shaking her head along with tilting her head to one sided.  I figured a foxtail must be in it.  The took me within a couple hours to check her out.  But due to where they were lodged they had to sedate her.  I came back in less then two hours and all was great.  My grand-son had fallen asleep in my truck, so they brought me my bill along with my dog.  What service!  All the women that I have met there are wonderful and very kind.

All the veterinarians are professional, practical and I believe gifted. They have seen me through the care and loss of four dogs and several cats, all with compassion and expertise, and continue to care for my current pets. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

The place is very clean and well kept. The staff and the doctors really care about the animals. There are several doctors, so it's not hard to get an appointment. I have no complaints about anything they have ever done for me or the way they treated my pets.

We really like that we see Dr. Babbitt. She is very professional, and always figures out when any of animals are sick.

The vets have always been very helpful. They take good care about the pets. I had to put a cat down many years ago as he was really sick. They didn't tell me that I had to put the cat down, but they told me what I had to do to keep it alive and then let me make the decision myself. They are really sympathetic and are fine people who really love animals. All of that comes through in the way they treat our pets. I have always been happy with them.
