"I sent Mr. [Member Name Removed] a detailed written bid, which he accepted, for a water softener and under the sink reverse osmosis filter using my high quality ceramic Euro faucet. Once I installed the softener he started insisting on upgrades which were not part of my original bid. I told him that a different faucet was available but not without prior communication. I apologized for the inconvenience and reduced his invoice by $25.00 to offset the cost of his desired RO faucet. He also wanted me to connect a filtered line to his refrigerator but this was not possible, again without prior communications and a licensed plumber. I upgraded the components, with larger valves and shut offs, so that his plumber could easily connect my filter to his refrigerator. I charged him a nominal $50.00 fee for the components not included in my original bid. He mistakenly stated that I ran my free water report test without a water sample. This is simply not true. I performed my water analysis at his well house, as I always do, to assure that my softener was working and emailed him the results when I returned home from the installation. All of my water softeners are 100% money back guaranteed so if he takes my filtered water to a lab and it is not free of Scale, Iron and Manganese I will gladly refund him, or any of my customers, 100% of the purchase price.
