Mom Micro Oven Medic

Diagnosed the problem.  Brought in replacement part and in the process of installing it, part burned up, short circuiting oven and making it impossible to repair.  Apparently this circuit board is no longer available and  if it hadn't short circuited I would have been able to send the computer board in for repair.  I had a few questions afterwards and he didn't return my call.

Provider responded, took a look and advised it was not worth repairing. I asked for good quality replacement and was given some very good options. I ended up buying a new washer based on his recommendation. I will definitely use them again for any appliance repair.

.The microwave stopped working well. The paperwork we had was missing a
letter on the end of the serial numberl which was needed to order a new
part. We looked all over the unit and no serial number was found so
nothing could be done. The unit worked for some cooking so we continued
to use it as was.

I was thrilled that the problem was so easy to diagnose and fix. A wire had detaced from the switch that connects the switch to the mechanical mechanism. Mark, the technician was able to reattched the wire. A job that took only a few minutes compared to what I was advised by a Sears repair technician.
A few days before MOM came I had a Sears repair technician came out and he stated that he couldn't even diagnose the problem because he had to get to the insides of the exhaust system(the pop-up was "stuck" down), and required the removal of the cook-top(a glass induction cook-top). A major opperation that may have damaged the cook-top. Cook-top removal was not needed to access the interior of the down draft unit-there is a motor switch that can be triggered from below(on the unit) that makes the pop-up go UP and from there the problem was a snap to diagnose and fix.
I will use Mark for more appleance repairs as they come up. He was knowlegeable, friendly and becasue the call was so short he felt a bit sheepish because nedded to charge me the minimum call fee.

Came over to make the repair within a day of contacting. Problem was diagnosed and repairs were made quickly and efficiently. I am completely satisfied.

He drove out and listened to the sound the washer was making before he ordered the part. Then he returned a couple of days later to install the part and fix the oven. He gave me estimates on his first visit and was good enough to make the two trips without extra charge (we live 1/2 hour from Medford).
He is very knowledgeable about his work; he gets in and gets the job done in a very timely manner.
I have used him before and am very pleased with his work.
