JACKSON MOVING COMPANY

Description of Work: We rented the U-Haul truck and they picked up the truck. They arrived at our apartment at 8:40 A.M. Our move was a total of 11 miles round trip from old apartment to the new one. They took 3 15 minute breaks in 2 hours. They moved like they had all day long to move our stuff. They made a lot of unnecessary trips to the U-Haul truck. They would go out to the truck empty handed and come back empty handed. They were going to charge us $220 for 4 hours and had 2 men. One of which was very dirty. His clothes looked like he had rolled around in the dirt! At the end of the move Mr. Jackson provided me with his bill already made up. It was 1:30 P.M. and he had charged me until 2:30 P.M. I asked him about it and he stated he had to take the truck back to U-Haul which is only 6 miles away! An hour to go 6 miles? Plus $20 for gas! The U-Haul truck was full when it was picked up and they only had to drive 1.5 miles from the U-Haul place to our old apartment to load up; and then 5 miles to our new apartment; and then 6 miles back to U-Haul, and that was going to cost me $20 for the gas? We had a small U-Haul truck. I told him I would tell all my friends about him and he said "Thank you!" DAH!
