Connecting Point Computer Centers treated me very special. They were very professional and knowledgeable. The representatives Byron and Moudlin took their time with me in finding the right computer and were very nice. I never felt rushed on making a decisions, and they provided me with every options. The entire staff was wonderful. I was thrilled with the results, and would highly recommend this company!!

I sent computer UPS to them. They repaired and returned it in one week. Computer had problem. I sent back. They repaired immediately and and returned. Now, one year later all is well.
I requested and they refunded the charges for the shipping costs associated with the second repair.
I had a lot of personal data in my computer that would have been easily assessable but one year later I have no evidence of of any such evil.
They were very friendly and professional. I kept in contact with the repair guy throughout the process.

I brought my MacBook in after it was dropped and something sounded loose inside. It was also missing 3 screws to hold the case together, and it was also getting hot. After waiting in line for 20 min. I explained what was going on. I had 5 screws from an old laptop, and as I had no use for them I gave them to Connecting Point when I dropped the laptop off. Their drop off fee was $45.00, I had a $50.00 bill and told them to keep the $5.00 and I could either get it when I picked up my laptop or apply it to the fee for tightening what was loose inside.
I was called, told my hard drive had to be replaced and the cost would be a minimum of $214.99, with a 30 day warranty. I asked why it needed to be replaced as I was not having hard drive problems. They said that was why my laptop was getting hot. I asked how they could tell that and I was told by holding a hand to the laptop.(BTW they also recommended an additional data recovery for for $189.00 and implied that icloud wasn't reliable) As I was going to MT in a week I declined the replacement and asked to just have what ever was loose tightened. When I picked up the laptop I asked about the $5.00. I was told they kept it because they needed 3 screws for my laptop (I gave them 5 screws). When I moved the laptop I didn't hear anything moving, but when I got home it was as loose or looser than when I dropped it off.
It's too bad that this company is the only authorized Apple repair in southern OR. If I need repair in the future instead of driving the 30 miles to Medford I will drive 140 miles to Eugene.
