Budget Blinds of Southern Oregon

Terrible. 1. Blinds installed in the living room required a battery-powered wireless remote. Per initial consultation, this was supposed to be also operated by a phone app. At the time of installation, it turned out that the app required a $10 monthly subscription. I had to give up the phone app as I was obviously unwilling to pay $10 per month for this convenience. Again, this additional fee was not disclosed at the time of initial consultation or put in the original contract. 2. The battery packs were installed using cheap Velcro straps from a grocery store. On the day following the installation, one of them detached and hung by a wire, and another fell on the floor from 25 feet in high traffic area. Luckily, no one was injured, but this could have ended tragically with a battery pack containing eight AA batteries landing on top of someone's head. I called the office on Friday morning to complain about this issue and the company didn't fix it until the following Monday. In the meantime, I had to climb my own ladder to remove the remaining loose battery packs. 3. Within a week and a half of installation, one of the motorized blinds stopped working. I was told that I would have to wait a week to have it fixed.

Betty was our Budget Blind rep who helped us pick out the various window coverings. She was a good listener, learning about what we wanted to accomplish in each room. She was very professional and shared her knowledge of the various products that would meet our needs. (Budget Blinds has a large selection of products from which to choose.) The blinds came promptly and Jerry and Roger did a wonderful job completing the installation. Their goal was to have everything exactly like we wanted, so if there were any decisions to be made, they were very good about running things past us.
The Budget Blinds team made the entire experience enjoyable, and we love our new blinds!!
