I personally didn't hire Brad Young but I did buy the house that he did the work on.  I knew that I'd be doing some cosmetic work on the house so I didn't look carefully at the addition.  When I finally started in I saw just how terrible his work was, at least by my standards!  Poor quality all around.  Attention to detail obviously didn't matter to the previous owner or Brad himself.  Building scraps and fast food bags/drinks, cans etc in the walls.  Inside cabinets, shower ceiling... just plain ugly to look at because of workmanship. Cheap Work!
 One day I was on a ladder in the addition and a man comes to the bottom of the stairs and yells, "Oh, someone's here!". Needless to say I was so startled!  He then said he'd seen some trucks at my place recently and thought he'd come over and see what was going on.  I asked who he was and said no one rang the doorbell or knocked... and before I could get another word out he said that he didn't bother to ring the bell or knock. He just walked in and toured the entire house before making his way over to where I was.  It was then he told me his name, Brad Young and that he himself was the builder of the addition.  I had nothing nice to say at that point except that he was extremely rude in trespassing and never to set foot on my property again, and told him to leave immediately, which he did.  Not too bright of a guy if you ask me!

Went great. Brad is a pro. And his workers were professional, capable and caring. Could hardly be better. Would recommend highly.

It went well.

The process from start to finish went according to schedule aside from the unexpected dry rot discovered which lengthened the time of the project another week. Because I was trying to bring the room up to code, I was required to deal with it at the time it was discovered so the inspector would sign off on the project. Brad was able to work with me on it and get it figured in with the rest of the remodel. The cost came out to be higher than we anticipated but overall we are very happy with the end result and have the peace of mind knowing that everything was done correctly.

I have used them a year ago as well. I had an inspection on my home on the 11th or 12th of October. I called them on the spot and said that I needed it to be done as I had an inspection. He came on the next day and so, I felt very fortunate. I liked that. Since I have used him before, he knew my system, what I needed and everything. His work was very good and I was very happy with him. So, I asked him if he would make this an annual thing. I thought that he did a great job and nothing has broken down. It would usually take a year to find out if it has really worked. His responsiveness was excellent and that was my favorite thing about him as I called him on the spot. He was a little bit rough around the edges but honestly, he seemed like a blue-collared hard working American person and I liked that. It sold me as I liked him.

Brad Youngs experience and ethics, mirrored in his employees, was a huge asset on such a major undertaking as installing Jeld Wen windows and doors in our 82 year old farm house. Brad was straight forward and easy to work with. He addressed our many questions and discussed ideas until we were comfortable with our decisions. His competent crew was punctual, conscientious and courteous. When people are in your living space for four to five weeks, these attributes are very important. They did their best to make this experience as painless as possible. All work was done to our satisfaction and his crew showed a willingness to patiently address any concerns that arose. In doing our research before making the decision to hire Brad, a few professional sources stated that they’d not heard of an unhappy customer of Brad’s. That he was a perfectionist and he made sure each job was done to his customers satisfaction. It was also said that he may cost a bit more, but he was definitely worth it. In comparing bids, we do not feel we paid more for his expertise. In the end, we most likely saved money and saved ourselves from potential frustrations, which is invaluable. We will hire Brad Youngs Construction to assist us with future remodel projects.

I have no complaints. Brad Youngs gave me an estimated schedule for when each aspect of the project would be completed. He and his sub-contractors stayed on schedule the entire time. I had an entirely new and beautiful kitchen in 7 weeks. He and his crew were friendly, patient with our large family, and did quality work. When the newly refinished wood floor was accidently dented and scratched when the new refrigerator was installed, I was promised that the floor would be fixed without additional cost. He was true to his word. When a cabinet piece arrived differently than I expected, it was return to the cabinet maker and rebuilt to my expectations. I found Brad Youngs in the Yellow Pages, believe it or not. But after meeting him for the first time, I had a strong impression that I would not be disappointed if I hired him. I only met with one other contractor and did not get any additional bids, but I am absolutely confident that we got an excellent value in choosing Brad Youngs. Living without a kitchen is a challenge. Because the project was always spot on schedule and because Brad was so reasonable and professional, yet personable, to work with, the stress and headaches often associated with remodel projects was almost non-existant. I highly Brad Youngs Construction.

Major changes to our house were made fun and easy to do with the help and advice of Brad Youngs and his crew. He helped us move into our bedroom hide-out, he was there every day, keeping things on schedule, and he helped us put the house back to what a home should look like. His subs were all of the highest quality, too!
