Ted and his crew were awesome! They were very respectful and clean. We often forgot they were even there! Baumer's is now our family's heating and cooling company!

The air conditioner stopped blowing cold air during the hottest part of the summer--on a Saturday, of course. I called Baumers on Saturday, and they said they could come out late that day, or early on Sunday. We were going out Saturday afternoon, so I requested Sunday morning. They came right on time and fixed the unit in less than an hour. We paid a little more because it was a weekend (I think about $40 or so) but we felt it was well worth it!

It was predictable that the air conditioning unit would choose to break down after so many 100 plus days. It was also predictable that it would break down on a weekend, when it's harder to get service and you have to pay more for it. I'm sure every service person was busy, but Baumer, who we'd used before, said he could come out in the late afternoon, or first thing on Sunday, or first thing on Monday if we preferred--he explained that it would cost weekend rates if he came before Monday. We understood that, and opted for the Sunday visit--one day without air was tolerable; two wouldn't be! Ted Baumer came out early on Sunday, confirmed that the motor was dead--but that nothing else was wrong. He had a new motor in his truck. He replaced it quickly and was very friendly and courteous. The motor cost $170, which was reasonable.No extra charge for that. His labor rate was for time and a half. It would have cost a bit less on Monday, but it wasn't all that much more and we really appreciated the quick service. We've had Baumer before (two years ago) and they were equally nice at that time. We are very happy with the company and will call them first in future.
