Here at Appliance Service Center we have multiple options for servicing your appliance repair needs. In-Shop Diagnoses: If you are able to bring your appliance to us, our trained certified technician will diagnose your appliance for $30.00 After which our friendly staff would contact you with pricing on any additional cost of parts, and labor. (No work will be done without authorization first) Out-Bound Service: Outbound service is when a certified technician will come to your residence or place of business do full diagnoses of your appliance and would then let you know what the problem is, and how much additional cost for parts and labor to install the remedy. At Appliance Service Center, all of our reconditioned units have been certified and checked by a certified technician. Sanitized and cleaned. All appliances come with a 90 days parts and labor warranty. We also sell new and reconditioned appliances

He came to the house pretty much on time,and asked me if I was referred from Angie's List. When I said yes he said good he gave $15.00 discount to Angie's List customers.
He then took apart the dryer, figured the problem, and told me it wasn't worth fixing --that washers and dryers only last 12-15 years-- just buy a completely different washer/dryer set and then stack them.
I said i wanted to fix it anyway then he said the part would be about $150.00 plus the service call fee about $100.00. He would return in a couple of days.
Two days later the part was in and he gave me a call to schedule and I said some repair people prefer and gave a discount for cash was that true for him also? He said yes he gave a 10% discount for cash and I said I'd go to the bank and have it ready for him.
He came, again,pretty much on time pretty much on time, went back to the dryer and fixed it. He went into the front room to make the bill and when he came back the bill had a total that was crossed out and ten dollars was taken off. I said "I thought you said there was a 15$ discount for Angie's customers"and he said "Oh no-- I can only do one discount."
I said-- "Then why did you tell me to get cash ?" and he replied: "I can't combine them. You can only get one."
Even though I wasn't happy about it--I paid anyway.
Oh-- and he left a mess on the floor in front of the dryer.

I didn't like that he pushed throwing away my stack to buy a new set. I don't like the wastefulness of the Toss Away Culture.
I felt he was reluctant to fix my dryer -- almost like he didn't want to take the trouble.
He left a mess.
He let me take the trouble to go to town and get him cash and then didn't give me the money off when I did.
the experience was so unpleasant I haven't called Angie's List since, and am unsure if I will continue with the service.

Our trained and certified technician is not the owner and has the best in customer care and satisfaction. We have also looked threw our system and do not have your name in our records for service or sales. We do not offer cash discounts, but do honor $15.00 Angie's discount. We also ALWAYS clean up behind our selves never ever leaving a mess for our customers. We do feel horrible about the service that you got. But unfortunately your review shouldn't be for us. We are a local family business who pride our selves on customer service, quality work, and a fair rate. We never push our customers to throw away their appliances, and take pride in ourselves for being able to fix what most local technicians can't. If in fact it is from us at ASC it will be clearly labeled with our company name and logo, with technicians name on it as well. If it is from us at ASC I Joe B. Very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable delivery price too.
Unit was delivered the next day. I received phone calls promptly and alerted me to the exact time of delivery. Delivery man was extremely helpful and willing to do whatever necessary to make everything work out even though the site was difficult. He helped me move stuff out of the way and then brought in the new machine and hooked it up and made sure it ran on every setting. Satisfied He then even took the old broken machine at no extra cost. Most awesome.
Made my day and I gladly gave a gratuity which he tried to refuse but I insisted.
