Easy to work with from start to finish and the final product looks amazing and is extremely durable. To top it off, they finished early and within the budget, which was even better. I would definitely hire Jesse and his team again for any future projects.

Fraudulent "bait and switch." We hired Kirk Precision Contracting for a kitchen remodel and installation of w/d hookups based on a reasonable bid, and discussed other future projects. Immediately after giving him a deposit of $7500, he gave us a new estimate in which the cost of many items doubled. Two weeks later, no work had started, and he was pressuring us to give him deposits for additional jobs, stating that he needed to "feed his family and pay his crew." When work did start, it was sporadic and often only one worker who came for a few hours, at odd times. There were problems with the workmanship on every item performed. We attempted to communicate our concerns, however, after verbal discussions, the written follow-up was not consistent with what he said. All of this (more detail below) led to us terminating the relationship prior to completion of the project. We have filed a complaint with the CCB and are currently waiting for processing and mediation to recover the money owed to us, which will take months. We made 5 attempts to informally resolve the issues within the 30-day timeframe that the CCB requires after notifying the contractor by certified mail of intention to file a complaint. We detailed our complaints and the work/damage that needed to be addressed. The only response we received was after our first attempt. Jesse Kirk stated via email that he would not address any of our concerns or return the balance owed from the deposit (despite having previously provided a balance sheet indicating a credit due) which was based on an estimate that included several items that he did not complete. Damage was done to beautiful original antique woodwork. Prior to the work that caused the damage, we discussed our concerns with using screws to install hardiebacker behind the backsplash on the wall opposite the built-in buffet and china cabinet. Our suggestion was to use adhesive, as appeared to have been done for the tile that they demo-ed. Jesse insisted on using screws and was adamant that there would be no damage. After voicing our continued concern, we asked what would happen in the event that damage did in fact occur. Jesse stated that he would be responsible for any damage, although, as we pointed out, it would not be possible to restore it to it's original condition. That was the last day that he was at our house and we were not informed of any damage, however, upon unpacking, we discovered that there were 13-14 screws penetrating the woodwork. It is baffling to us that after our extensive conversation and clear discussion of concerns, the work was not checked after the first screw. Instead, the damage extends across the entire cabinet which is over half the length of the room. Jesse never responded to our email detailing this as well as other issues with workmanship that needed to be addressed, "despite the one-year guarantee." The plumbing, which he did not subcontract and is not licensed for, resulted in a major water leak after h

We chose a relatively new contractor and perhaps one not ready for the large scope of our job. Out side work included repair and painting of all wood trim, power washing, hand rails where necessary, a new fence and deck and a construction of a gazebo like structure. We used this same contractor to do inside work also. New flooring in entire upstairs, bathroom remodel, interior painting of the entire house and several miscellaneous projects. The pictures show a finished product that is wonderful and very professional looking. Pictures don't tell the whole story unfortunately. My low rating is due to the poor work ethic and unprofessional process. The contractor and his crew worked only sporadically. Many days they started after 10 and left by 2 or 3. The crew was left to work on their own without a clear idea what needed to be done or how. Garbage was left strewn around the yard everyday, even after we supplied a trash can and asked for clean up. Our ladders, tools, towels, furniture and other household items were used without permission and covered with paint and texture product and in many cases ruined. Draping was done in only a few spots, not covering appliances and other items. When asked to drape we were told 'don't worry, we will clean it up'. Getting sawdust and paint out of the stove, coffee pot, and other household items was difficult and in some cases impossible. We were living here during the construction but the contractor used methods that are really only productive in new construction. All the furniture in all the rooms was pushed together at once, leaving us only the bed to sit on for about 4 weeks. His practice of painting without taping caused over painting back and forth more than once or twice, wasting an incredible amount of time. The practice of not painting behind appliances because no matter one one would see it was unacceptable to us. Even after we specifically asked them specifically not to do that, they did it anyway. We asked that all holes in walls be filled before painting. When it was not done the first day I asked again but now as I am rearranging and cleaning I am finding that the holes are not filled. Jesse, the contractor was argumentative and refused to take responsibility for anything. He has many practices of working that are different from the norm and never lets you know until it's too late. I would not use this contractor again. In the last coupe of weeks we found ourselves complaining to literally everybody we talked to. It has been almost a month since the project ended but we are still looking for belongings. Some were moved to the second level and others just put in random places. The floors are strewn with screws and old hardware. Tools seem to be missing, but we are just so glad the ordeal is over. We learned many lessons during this process. I am hoping he did too.

"Hi Nancy, I am very sorry if you feel that you had a bad experience with my company. First and foremost, my #1 goal on any job is to make sure it is done exceptionally well, meets my high standards, and that the customer is always happy. It appeared throughout the project that you were very happy with the quality of the work and processes, so these comments are surprising to me. With that aside, I would be happy to address any issues that you have with the work that was done and I appreciate your feedback. Jesse"

First I want you to know that these guys were very nice. However he wanted me to tell him what was wrong with my toilet, if I knew that then I wouldn't of needed a handyman. He put a zip tie on the handle, which only lasted for 2 flushes. My toilet wouldn't flush because the tank wasn't filling up. It had nothing to do with the handle. This cost me 50.00 and he wanted more money to come back!
Response from Kirk Precision Contracting, LLC
"Sorry you were not satisfied, we did state it needed parts and labor for it to be repaired properly. Was a bush fix until we went to get parts, was only toilet in house. After it worked temporary we were asked to leave."
