FARNHAM ELECTRIC CO

Farnham Electric sent me a $195 bill for ten minutes of work. I was given no estimate of time or cost up front. The technician diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes and fixed it in ten. He had to move a single wire on the outlet from "load" to "line." The technician also refused to tell me what the cost would be for the work. When I called upon receiving the bill, I was told that "the computer" had somehow mysteriously overcharged me for 1.5 hours of labor instead of 1 hour. Oops. They charge a minimum of 1 hour for any service (although there is no mention of this on their website and they certainly don't tell you this up front when you call.) Bottom line: I am still being billed $135 for ten minutes of work and no parts.

Both installs went very well. Electricians were professional, thorough and communicative.

Very happy with their work. Farnham was able to schedule this job in a couple days as opposed to other electricians who were several weeks out for appointments. They also replaced a bad breaker in the process which we did not know about.

Steve, the electrician, was very thorough in his bid, explained everything, arrived when promised and did excellent, fast work for a reasonable price.

IT WAS EXCELLENT. IT WAS DONE VERY QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. IT WAS DONE WITHOUT ANY HASSLE. THEY CLEANED UP EVERYTHING. HE LOOKED AT IT AND SAID YOU NEED THIS AND THAT, AND I RAN OUT AND GOT EQUIPMENT WHICH HE SAID WOULD BE A LOT CHEAPER THAN IF HE PUT IT IN FROM THE STORE. I BROUGHT THEM HOME, AND HE PUT THEM IN FOR ME. HE WAS LOOKING OUT FOR OUR BEST FINANCIAL INTEREST.
