Our main office is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Salem and 35 minutes from Portland in McMinnville, Oregon. The coastal area is served by our satellite branch located in Astoria, Oregon. Since 1968, A&E has been providing residential, commercial, educational, and governmental and law enforcement clients with custom designed comprehensive security systems, alarms, access control, locks and keys, safes, surveillance cameras (CCTV), home theater and sound systems, phones, and data networks. Over the past four years, we have had more than a dozen sensors fail (some multiple times;) have triggered multiple false alarms while away on vacation due to improper programming of sensors as well as pet-sensitive motion detectors that were set off by pets. Sensor batteries have failed in as little as two years. Sensors have failed due to corrosion or simply because "they were bad sensors." We never know when something is going to fail. In the past three months, we have had three sensors fail (separate instances, about a month apart) for unknown reasons. For this, we have had two separate service calls, each time the technician claims to "check everything out." I've written letters, threatened action, not paid for the most recent service call, etc. Bottom line? The system is untrustworthy, the company is less than responsive )"Dee is on vacation, so no one has called you back" or "Dee is too swamped and is sorry to have not called back sooner.") We're stuck and it's a nightmare.

THEY CONTINUALLY MONITOR OUR HOME TWENTY-FOURS HOURS A DAY, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK. IT MAKES US FEEL VERY SECURE KNOWING OUR HOME IS UNDER THEIR WATCH AND IF ANY OF THE ALARMS GO OFF, THEY'RE ON TOP OF IT.
