FURNITURE OUTFITTERS

It is a small store that seems to specialize in very good quality furniture at reasonable prices. They didn't have what I wanted in stock but were happy to order it for me. When it arrived, Dave called to let me know it was in and arrange delivery. Although the table seemed fairly expensive, I am daily pleased by the quality and style of what I got. The delivery included set up and his crew actually helped me move another piece of furniture while they were there at no additional expense.

The owner and his assistants are well informed. They focus their inventory of wood items on quarter-sawn oak products from a manufacturer in southern California. We particularly like the cherry stains on those products, and the craftsman style hardware. These are not inexpensive pieces. But they are affordable, and the prices are better than we've seen at other oak retailers for products that are similar, but in our opinion were not quite as sturdy or attractive. The sofas we've seen (including some we haven't yet purchased) were more competitively priced than at four other retailers we looked at. Delivery has always been on time, and they have been very careful moving things into our house. They aren't the only place we've purchased furniture from, but we've done much more business with them than anyone else.
