Sam and his son did a perfect job and arrived on time.

Prompt and polite. When the stairs were build they were sturdy but I noticed one of the risers was half the width of the rest of them. I called Greg and this problem was promptly fixed.
Safety and expense were my main concerns and Excellence Inc. provided safe stairs at an affordable price that also look good.

If you send two people with no expertise or training, and next to no equipment (they brought one vacuum cleaner and two face masks), to do a job requiring both experience and rigor, you cannot blame the individuals who did the work. I don't. I blame the silver tongued guy who deceived us into expecting something very different. (When he thought this was covered by my insurance, he also tried to deceive the insurer into paying more -- so he told me by e-mail, which I still have.)
As for the job itself: Greg explained that his and quot;crewand quot; would first take everything out of the house and seal any entry points the rodents were using; then they would clean the entire house, and would thoroughly clean the things they had taken out before putting them back; a and quot;crewand quot; would disinfect the place from top to bottom; only then would the house contents be put back.
In the event, the job they did did not resemble the job described. They never emptied the house, and even after they came back for two days after they had and quot;finishedand quot; the job, I found rat droppings and dirt in several places. I have a legal background, and I choose my words carefully: RIP-OFF! Don't deal with this guy.

P.S. AUG 2013 -- Raccoons removed one the screens and got into the crawl space under the house. I e-mailed Greg and he sent someone to fix the problem the very next morning. Excellent service (but should the screen have been so easy to remove?), but that hardly makes a dent in the major rip-off of charging me $7K for the job (see above).

They are very responsive and in both cases started on time as committed. In the case of the rotted siding, more work was required, based on what they found, and they communicated with us effectively. We don't live in the town where the vacation house is, and working with them over the phone was fine.

I called and the guys showed up, bought, and installed a garbage disposal in the same and did it all within record time.

The workers were several hours late because they were sent in the wrong direction. When I phoned to inquire, the answering service took my name and number. The owner phoned and apologized, explaining that the workers would arrive around noon. They arrived in time to start the job by 1:00 PM. Before they started, we discussed their price--$85 per person per hour-- and they said the job would take two hours--four man hours. The guys told me the job would take extra time because they would have to remove the gutter guards in order to get to the gutters. I checked with them as they worked and they said removing the guards was difficult and they weren't able to get all of the guards off but that they would be able to reach the gutter well enough to clean it. In two hours they were finished and ready to go, at which time the spokesman said the price would be $450. I protested that 4 times $85 was not $450. He then offered $390. I responded that 4 times $85 was closer to $350 and we finally settled on $360, which included $10 for transportation. When my husband returned home, he told me that the gutter guards did not have to be removed; they had clips that would release the tops enough for cleaning. I contacted the owner the next day with my concerns about the calculations and the workers' apparent lack of knowledge about working around gutter guards. The owner was unhappy with me and maintained that I had underpaid, mot overpaid and did not agree that the job could have gone faster. He said he would check with his workers and phone me back but he had not done so when we left for home two days after the job was done. As far as I can tell, the gutters are clean.

I could not be happier with Greg's ongoing services....he has overseen the exterior maintenance of my beach house for 3 years now.
