I took my Kenmore canister vacuum for repair because it had developed a strong odor when turned on. Jerry, the vacuum specialist took a look at it and called me with the unfortunate news that the motor was overheating and would require replacement, which would probably not be worthwhile due to cost of $200.00 or more. He offered to recycle the unit and said there was no charge for the estimate. I was not surprised with the verdict as the vacuum was 12 or more years old. Jerry didn't try to sell me anything but was happy to offer some suggestions of replacement brands when I asked for his opinion. I would defiinately take a vacuum for service here again.It was a low pressure, positive experience and was much preferable to my past experiences with Sears repair services. Thanks Jerry!

Got a call in four days that the vacuum was ready. The cover would not close properly and that made the cleaner unusable. I tried everything and even called the manufacurer who could not find any reason over the phone but told me if I was not using genuine Bissell bags that could be a problem. When I went to pick up the cleaner, Bob had gotten the cover to close and showed me a possible glitch. We both agreed that it might indeed be the off market bags that were causing the issue. He did not charge me anything for the time he spent trying to figure it out.

Their storefront has moved from the south side of the street to the north side and is easy to miss.

Really great place, knowledgeable. I had to follow up with a call but they were quick to get the job done.

I inherited this vacuum, and it wasn't picking anything up. I took it in, and they said it needed a new belt. They asked if I also wanted it serviced, and I asked how much that would be. They said it would be about $35-$40. I misunderstood and thought they meant that would be in addition to the price of the belt. I was thrilled when their quote had included everything. The vacuum works like a charm now.
