TRAN'S GARDENING SERVICES

The team needed clear directions to avoid fanatism in cutting fruit bushes. Enjoid working with the owner. The huge work got done within very short time.

I have yard care every other week. I had the front lawn aerated and seed-over, moss removal, fertilized. Its dead. Not sure if I'd hire again. Will see how they respond.

Great! I have hazelnut shells as ground cover in some of the beds so they had to rake by hand. And other parts of the garden required a delicate touch. The crew did a excellent job. Even removed a stump from a very large shrub that was a casualty of of the 12 inches of snow.

Mr. Tran and his people arrived when promised, and began work immediately. The people were polite and professional, and made good progress, even during a sudden rain storm. The projects were completed as promised, on time, and on budget. I have suggested Mr. Tran to neighbors and friends, and would willingly use him again.

Tran has been doing all our yard work for about 10 years. His crew is reliable and does a good job. He's also done some special jobs for us, such as installing a drain pipe under gravel next to our deck, which has ended our problem of the back yard flooding during heavy rain. We think he's dependable and honest.

The price is great. The lawn work is good. The professionalism is good. They have gotten the lawn back into shape.

My only complaint is that the gas blowers are really noisy and stinky.

Shows up like clockwork; I don't have to be present. Price is competitive. I give them high marks for reliability.

Mr. Tran and his two workers arrived on time. They got right to work on the pines and trimmed them amazingly, then trimmed the remaining trees and bushes. Finally they cleaned up and raked the entire yard more than I expected. In the end, it looked very nice. Total job took about 8 hours.

The work itself was done well. Nice patterned mowing, lots of weeding, good edging. But that's not the problem. I've never met a more unorganized, untrustworthy person in the service industry. I honestly had to call him five times to remind him to do two jobs! Every time I called him, he sounded like he had never heard of me before. With so many options on the list, I wouldn't bother with this guy. Too much trouble.

Mr. Tran came right away and gave me an estimate. Very polite. No written quote but a verbal one. I had nothing to compare the trellis quote to but I had wanted that taken care of for over two years so I accepted his bid. He gave me a reasonable quote for ongoing maintenance. $110 for twice monthly mowing and clean up of my large yard. To shorten this story. Mr. Tran came when I was there to prune the laurel as I wanted to look at the result. That was fine. I had to have Mr. Tran wait to put up the trellises because I had to make some repairs. I was out of town when Mr. Tran sent a crew over to put up the trellises and I left written instructions but nobody read or could read them and they put them up backwards. They also were a little crooked but nobody seemed to notice but me. It was a fair job, though not excellent. I should have been there. They finished quickly and I paid Mr. Tran promptly.

Tran was very prompt in providing an estimate and performing the work. His price was also very competitive and the job was done well. My only issue is that I had to ask for a written quote and an invoice, which he provided. Paperwork should be part of a standard business practice.

Mr. Tran and his crew performed the work nearly to perfection (a few weeds and leaves here, a bit overboard with the trimming there). He is very friendly and polite, and although the cleanup was expensive, the price he quoted for ongoing maintenance was low. We'll see how that goes.

They didn't do a top-notch job that was worth $300.

We are so delighted with the results. Mr. Tran and his worker's were incredibly punctual. He is creative, professional and reliable. His workers took their job seriously and did quality work. They were friendly and open to all my questions. He designed the shape of the sod in a flowing, artistic way and in addition, saved me money by suggesting we use existing boulders in the yard to create a flower bed in another area of the yard. Our yard was spotless when they left. We are so happy with the work we can barely stop staring at the garden.

Service is reliable and well performed. $75 a month.

We have been using Mr. Tran since 1996. At least once a year for yard clean up and fresh bark dust. We have also used him for landscaping (still looks great!) and repairs to sprinkler system. His workers always do a tremendous job with super clean up. And always something extra ... like emptying my flower pots!!
