Our experience with Mike and his crew has been outstanding in every way. Mike is clear about working times and completion windows and sticks to them. They are thorough and pleasant to work with. They meticulously cleaned up each day. The job required matching existing colors and color selection which Mike was expertly able to help me with. It looks wonderful - beyond my expectations and I actually missed them when the job was complete. Mike is honest, fair minded, and cares about his work and his clients. How many contractors can you say that about? I just hired them to paint the exterior of the house and can't wait for the final result.

Mike and his team take a lot of pride in their work, the quality of their work, prepping the site, and cleaning up. They not only did the painting I requested but Mike suggested some minor exterior touch-ups, and recommended I replace the gutters in a few years as rust is beginning to occur. When Mike painted my home's exterior in 2007, he noted some of the new windows installed then (and not by WESTEC) had not been caulked. He and his team caulked the new windows at no charge and also checked out the caulking on the older windows. He is very conscientious about helping his customers maintain the homes in good condition.
Mike and his crew are not the cheapest painters in the Portland metro area, and sometimes it's difficult to get onto his schedule, but their work and quality are excellent. I highly recommend Mike Hastings Painting.

Mike painted the entire interior of our house two years ago with Devine paints. He did a superior job then so we hired him without hesitation to do the outside of our home. He and his guys do all the work themselves and are very particular about masking, cleaning up, etc. There is never any mess left behind. The job took twice as long as anticipated and work was done on weekends as well as weekdays in order to finish in a timely manner. Since the estimate was made before we decided to go with the Timber Pro products and included just two treatments, the price was higher than we expected. However, the results are worth the extra cost and time involved. We changed our minds several times about stain and paint colors and Mike was patient and helpful with suggestions. The house looks amazing and we would recommend Mike in an instant to anyone needing their house painted.

Mike was recommended by our color consultant. Mike was extremely professional, thoughtful and reliable. He was also concerned about cost and suggested ways we could save money (i.e., not repainting all our molding since it was in very good condition). He arrived on time and completed the work exactly as promised. He did not accept full payment until everything was completed to our satisfaction. I recommend him without reservation.
