Tim and his crew did an amazing job, he said 8 weeks for the remodel. I did not believe him, but he was on time to the day! This happened with the Coronavirus happening part way through. His contractors were very respectful and worked safely! I actually kind of miss them?. We have already called Tim for a few other projects.

I couldn't be more pleased with the work Leitner Construction did for me. I had a bathroom totally remodeled and was so pleased with the results that a year later I decided to have a second bathroom done. Because my home was built in 1964, both bathrooms needed total makeovers. I was able to select a price range that fit my budget and was given help in making my selection of tile and hardware. I absolutely love my custom-made cabinets. The project managers checked in with me everyday to answer my questions and monitor the work being done. When I need any future remodeling done, my call will go to Leitner Construction!

We were extremely pleased with the services provided by everyone involved with the interior remodeling of our home that was handled by Leitner Construction. Both owner Tim Leitner and our project manager Kaethe Graves listened to what we wanted and not only responded to our wishes but also provided important ideas of their own that improved the project. We are very happy with two major areas of the home that were completely transformed by the renovation -- the living-dining room area and the downstairs master bedroom suite -- and both were enhanced because of suggestions from Leitner. We feel we saved time and money because Leitner provided conceptual, architectural, and interior design services internally as well as handling all the demolition and construction work through competent subcontractors. Truly a high-quality one-stop shop!

Very, very happy! Once the work started there was not a single weekday when at least one crew was not working on the site. Very thorough and professional contractor headed up by Paul. Excellent communication. Architectural subcontractor was excellent. Finished work is amazing. We are very happy and will be hiring again. We ended up paying a lot more than the original bid...change orders were more common than expected. We've never had an addition done, but we know that change orders are common. There were some details (number of lights per room, for instance) that were planned for minimal quality and we did not see that until it resulted in a change order (to get the room well-lit). Also had a little trouble with reconnecting the security and home entertainment system, as the contractor did not seem to have a usual subcontractor for this detail.

Several years ago we engaged Leitner Construction to transform the crawl space underneath our house into a finished basement. Despite the inconvenient location of the supporting posts, the HVAC ducting, the plumbing pipes, and a partial exterior hatch, Tim's team turned a cold, damp, and seemingly uninhabitable space into a code-compliant, beautiful, and comfortable living area that has become the primary play/recreation/relaxation area of the entire house. With the passage of time and the forces of nature, our basement recently developed a small water leak near the exterior door. Although the warranty period had long since lapsed, Tim responded to our call. He and his team quickly assessed the extent of the damage, made the necessary repairs, restored everything to its original condition, and put everything back in its original place, all on his own dime. We fully realized that the project was long out of warranty, but Tim would not accept payment for the repair work. This is a contractor who puts his name on the line and who stands behind his work, long after he has a legal obligation to do so. If you're picky about who you'll entrust your house construction project to, Tim Leitner is the contractor you want in your corner.

It went great. Project Mgr was on top of every aspect of prep and installation. Subs were professional, polite, accommodating and very skilled in their respective areas. This was the second job we had Leitner Const do for us. Both times the results were outstanding. We would definitely hire this firm again and highly recommend them.

It went very well! Everyone representing Leitner Construction was professional and dependable. This was no small task......once the tree was removed there was extensive demo work and site prep. This was immediately followed up by concrete work and shortly thereafter we ran into unforeseen permit problems. The owner, Tim Leitner handled the situation with both the county and insurance provider. We never had to get involved. Entirely new plans had to be developed due too snow load structural requirements and again.....Tim handled everything without us ever having to intervene. Extensive electrical had to be done as the meter was attached to the damaged building. This meter feeds our house and 3 outbuildings.....not to mention wiring a large diesel generator. This all came out better than it had been originallly! When the new building was completed, it looked amazing! Even better than my wife and I could have hoped for!!! This is the third time we have hired Leitner Construction and have been far more than pleased each and every time. It is refreshing to deal with a company that stands by their product and delivers precisely as originally promised. Although we hope not to have a similar situation in the future, we do know whom we can call to make things right again! Thank you Tim and entire crew for your honest and professional approach to what you do! Leitner Construction did a complete tear out of the old kitchen and family room area. They helped me design a new kitchen, installed it and put hardwood floors in the kitchen, dining and family rooms. They also refinished the existing living room and hall floors which looked great after they were done. They did work in both bathrooms- replacing the vanities, retiled a shower, new floors, and counters. It was a large project that took several months and it was hard to not have a kitchen but they really worked with me to make it tolerable. Kaethe was the project manager and my go- to person. She was terrific to work with, offering ideas and support throughout the project. All of the workers who came in were polite, pleasant and cleaned up after they were done. They worked around my work schedule too. There was one issue with the flooring but Tim Leitner, the owner and Kaethe worked with me to resolve it to my satisfaction and the end result is just beautiful. Overall I would definitely hire this company again and I now have the kitchen I always wanted.

I was so disappointed because of the good reviews i saw on Angie's List. This was a very bad experience for us. We first contacted and paid the deposit in August 2014 to have an egress window put in our basement.
They kept pushing back the start date. The sub-contractor came to the house to measure, I had to leave work to meet them at the house. A month went by and nothing was scheduled for work. The sub-contractor had to come back to re-measure, and still a month went by without scheduling anything. They delivered the windows without calling first, so they sat in the front of the house until I got home.
Finally in January 2015 the work was done. The workman did not exhaust his saw, so by the time I got home, the Carbon Monoxide monitor was going off, and the whole house smelled of diesel fuel. When coming in the front door with the window, they damaged the wall in our entryway, and did not offer to fix it.
He did not finish in the time he agreed to, and had to come back days later to finish the work, putting us out of the room for extra days.
We had to call the back a third time because the finish work around the window fream was sloppy - calking not even, dirty everywhere.
Window Well they installed did not come up but 2 inches above the ground, we now have to dig and remove dirt and reinforce the well.
They were very nice on the phone, and always apologized for the lateness and sloppy work, but I am afraid that did not make the job any more pleasant.

"I am sincerely sorry for the negative experience that you had. I share in your frustration. This was an unusual project where everything that could go wrong did. Many of the problems on this project were, in fact, preventable and we failed in that, and a number of the issues we had no control over. The delay in the start date we certainly take responsibility for. At the time of the original bid, I did have a crew prepared to do the work. By the time the proposal was accepted, that opening was closed. I should have discussed with you what a reasonable expectation was. The work crew did exhaust the room while the work was being done; however, in the confined space it was difficult to keep exhaust from escaping. We did offer to fix the indentation behind the door; however, this service was declined. I had hoped that the discount that we provided for your inconvenience would help offset some of your frustration and inconvenience. Please feel free to call me if you feel there is more that can be done."

We met Leitner Construction at one of the local home improvement shows. With all the contractors available, we narrowed our choices to a few buy looking at reviews and talking to them and then got three bids. It was a tough choice but are really happy we chose Leitner.
We worked with Paul, a real pleasure to work with. Paul and Leitner Construction take pride in always being on time and they always were. He listened to our ideas, didn't laugh too much, gave suggestions and went to work on the plans. The plans were just as we dreamed of.
New foundation had to be poured for the addition. The sub-contractors worked quickly and efficiently to move the project right along and were generally helpful and friendly to our needs and requests. The cabinet makers, granite and tile people did real nice work and were right on schedule. The windows and special order door are excellent and center island made just as we desired. New appliances were installed with the project. We also installed a new heat pump and central air conditioning which we are totaly pleased with.
We did decide in the final stages of the project to do the last touches of paint rather than the contractor.
We are totally happy with our decision to go with Leitner.

It took about a week. The foreman came, evaluated the job, gave me options. I went to the local supply to id what materials I wanted to use on the deck which turned out to be solid "plastic" boards that look just like my wooden deck, with fasteners that go between the boards so no nails or screws can be seen on the surface, not even at the edges. The foreman introduced the lead workman who was available each day for questions or comments as I had a need. We took pix as they worked, removing the old wood, repairing the sections of dry-rot next to the house, hauling away the debris, fixing the siding that interfaced the deck, and then building a whole new deck with nearly indestructible materials of my choosing. The material is some kind of plastic but it looks like my wooden deck. My friends commented on the fact that the deck was a somewhat different size, but they didnt realize that it wasnt wood because it looks just like wood. AND ALL I HAVE TO DO IS POWER WASH IT, and not even very hard, just enough to blow off the stuff that falls from the trees. They also put on new gutters (with covers) all around the house.

A few different guys came on different days with their special skills for what was being done that day and the crew leader always let me know who was who and what they were working on that day. The crew all seem to get along well and were very friendly to me and my family if we interrupted them with questions or comments. The equipment was kept off the walkways so we were able to come and go as we needed to.
After they were done, I had a walk -thru with the lead guy and the foreman, where we made a short list of the final items to be done which were done on the last day when the final cleanup was finished. I got to keep the extra pieces of boards that I wanted, and the new deck was ready to use when they were finished. I will definitely use this company again when I have construction needs.

Over all the job went well. It all took longer than we anticipated but that seems to happen in construction. We encountered some snags which included finding asbestos and having to have that removed. The carpenters were fantastic. Jasper and his crew worked quickly and accurately. The finish carpenter, Reggie, was precise with all the details. The cabinet company did a fabulous job and all the cabinets throughout the house are exactly what we wanted. While there were some issues encountered, Tim was quick to get it all resolved. The only crew I was not pleased with was the paint crew but Tim addressed that, and made sure it was done to his standards. I will be calling Tim in a couple of years to work on our basement.

This was a six week project from the start. We talked to three contractors and Tim Leitner has a cost as low as any but more important to us was a trust factor we do not do large remodels every day. We took a basic plan developed elsewhere and went from there. The project was always on time and where there were minor issues they were always corrected right away.
We are very happy with the end result and it was finished on the day it was suppose to be.
We did some things most kitchen remodels would probably not do. A heated kitchen floor and the LED options did drive up the cost some but we are happy with the result.
Tim and David both were available to answer questions or keep us updated on any daily changes. The cabinets from Vixon are well finished. The Ogee edge on the granite island from Dynamic in Hubbard is also great. The one error made on a hole size else was corrected with no permanent damage.
I would use them again for a bathroom remodel at some point.
Just be prepared to eat out and like us move the refer and MW to the garage and use it for a month.
Too bad you can not see the before and after pictures as it does not look like the same room at all and isn't.

They were very professional and have been responsive up to this point. They worked with us and provided design services. They had a designer and an engineer on staff. They completed the work a little outside of schedule and fairly on budget. They were very courteous and responsive to our neighbors concerns.

We had a very large, spa type bathroom added to our master bedroom, had our existing bathroom converted into a walk in closet, and added a window to our bedroom. We also used Tim to contract the tiling of our fireplace, front entry. guest bath, and kitchen floor and counters.

It went great overall. I will try to go over each aspect as it occurred. We did the teardown and clean up leaving the room ready for the remodel. The plumbing went off without a hitch. They also installed a hose bib to the outside. There were no problems with the foundation work and the plumbing of the new shower. The framing also went well. They framed out the shower, a pass through from the bar to the living area and also a wall for the washer and dryer. The electrician put in 5 lights in the bar, a sconce, and also an 2 exhaust fans. The drywall contractors were very good and worked hard to get all the work done in only 3 days. The work halted while we completed the painting and then resumed with cabinets and tile. We had some minor issues with the tile and cabinetry, but they were addressed without additional cost to us and completed quickly. We are very satisfied with the finished project and wouldn't hesitate to use this company in the future.

We interviewed about a dozen contractors for this work. Paul survived several rounds of interviews. I immediately respected his professionalism, patience and eye for detail. He quickly provided requested references, insurance documentation, etc. During the project, Paul was upfront and honest with issues that arose. He involved me in decision making, contributed great design insight and made sure all discussions with subcontractors were clarified and everybody understood the work that was to occur. All phone calls made to him were quickly returned. When multiple subcontractors were on site, he showed leadership and they respected his decisions to coordinate their work. Paul proved that the most important aspect of a complete remodel was relationship building. He listened to us, gave insight, expressed understanding and was very honest. I would use Paul and Tim Leitner Construction again without question.
