 + -1 moreKate escorted us for 9 months while we searched. In the fall, we found a house backing up to a park. I fell in love with being able to see our son play soccer from the kitchen. We came very close to putting an offer on this house even though the house was not a good fit for us. I always worry about conflict of interest with real estate agents. Kate could have easily convinced us that this was the right house for us. Instead she realized that we had fallen in love with the neighborhood, not the house. She encouraged us to wait and wrote letters to all of the other houses in the neighborhood saying that she had clients that loved the neighborhood for all of these reasons, probably the same reasons they love the neighborhood. If they were considering selling their house in the future, please call her. An owner returned the call and indicated that they would be selling in the spring. This is the house we bought. It is perfect. Many thanks to Kate for finding it.
