I do not recommend using this company. The quality of the windows installation was fine. We needed dry rot repair which is where the problems with the overall experience really started. It was the worst contractor experience I have ever had. The experience was terrible for two reasons: 1) very slow to get work done (we started bidding in January and the final bill didn’t come until September) and 2) the final bill at the end had high hidden costs never communicated to us verbally or in writing. We felt like we were taken advantage of.

My experience with their service has been fantastic! They were one of the top 2 on the list. I called #1 and got a recording machine. I then called Goose Hollow Window and somebody answered right away. They were extremely responsive. They gave me 2 options - they could come over which would cost me more or I could just bring in the window frame which was easy for me to remove. They had the job done in a day. The pricing was very fair and they did a really good service.

They coordinated a lot of different sub contractors really well. They got us every tax break possible with the state and federal. They personally met with us to go over the contract at the beginning of the project as well as the end.

It was somebody that we hired to put new windows on our rental unit years ago and we subsequently became friends. Mary Mann is the owner and she succeeds in a man?s world. The work went very well. I didn?t want to use a super premium window, but sort of premium window. I was going to use fiberglass because I wanted color. So, she convinced me that they had new painting process for vinyl that would be satisfactory and without the costs associated with fiberglass. That?s why we went down, checked out at the paint shop and then her crew put them in. We were quite happy with it. In fact, I just did an analysis with the gas company about how many therms we were spending compared to before we replaced the furnace and before we replaced the windows. At the end, we compared it with what it is paying now. It is down about 15%. She really hand walks you through the experience. She was probably not the least expensive person. I would use her services in the future too.
