ETHAN ALLEN HOME INTERIORS

The sofa was delivered as ordered and is beautiful.  There were no problems at all with it.  I had two swivel rockers reupholstered.  I requested that the cushions in the 10-year old chairs be redone with new latex inserts and was told the upholsterer would  not do that.  They would just put a dacron wrap around the old latex insert, which they insisted was a very good fix for existing cushions.  I was talked into accepting this application even though I stressed that I wanted new inserts.  The chairs were delivered and the cushions were not adequate.  It was obvious these cushions would not be like the new chairs that one would expect from reupholstered furniture, when cushion replacements are an easy fix.  In the end Ethan Allen ordered replacement cushions directly from their factory (not the unwilling upholsterer) and this was an expensive solution.  I will not have them do upholstery jobs in the future.
