Perfect.  Everything done as promised and our dog learned quickly.

I'm late writing this review, but he did a great job, was extremely courteous, and checked back several times to make sure that the product and installation had worked out for us.  More recently, the battery in my dog's collar ran out, and Glenn actually dropped by and stuck a fresh one into my mailbox while I was at work, after I bought it at the Dogwatch website.  I think that's some amazing service!
I'm not really sure about what the cost was, but I think it was in the neighborhood of $1000.  Whatever it was, it seemed fair at the time, and has really paid off in peace of mind, etc.

Glenn returned my call on the same day and even came out to  look at our yard that day.  We decided to have him do the job and he was able to do it just a couple of days later.  He arrived promptly, put the wire around, then the flags, installed the transmitter, and then took the dog out to become acquainted with the new situation.  The dog responded well, and Glenn explained how the system worked.   Glenn returned the following Monday to check on things.  He brought his own dog to the other side of the fence to see how our dog would react, and the fence worked perfectly--our dog stayed back.

It's wonderful to be able to leave without worrying that the dog will get out of the yard.  We are very pleased with Glenn's work.

Glen was great.  He installed the invisible fencing and then trained our dog.  It went really well and we've been very satisfied with the work that was done.

Great work and effective training. It has been very effective with my dog and a huge benefit to keeping her within boundaries without a fence. I had one issue with her response to the fence and Glenn was very responsive to come back to the property and help me with my concerns. He made a slight adjustment on settings to help with my dog's response. I have not had any issues since. Great system, service and support. I would highly recommend to others and would use again.

Glenn was professional courteous and honest. He showed up on time and did a good job. He had to come back twice to fix broken wiring (our fault) and fixed at no extra charge. I would highly recommend!

They provided the equipment, dog collar, and training. Glenn came by several times to help train our dog.

Glenn was prompt and provided exactly the service and product that we needed.  Our dog was very social and loved to go on "walks by himself!"  Our invisible fence has stopped that completely.  Our dog is now safe and happy.  He loves to be outside and we have the peace of mind that even though we cannot always see him, he is safely chasing squirrels or deer and will safely come back when called.  The fence works beautifully.  Our dog will chase the deer as fast as he can and he will stop short, just in time not to get a "zap!"   For those concerned that it will hurt or harm your dog, I would strongly disagree.  It only took a few times the first week before he completely adheres to his boundary.   He knows and respects his boundaries and does not get shocked.  I highly recommend Glenn, his service and products. 

We had a great experience with Glenn.  We would absolutely recommend this product and his service.  It has really worked out well for us and our dog Charlie.

I had an excellent experience with Dog Watch Fencing. I have owned dogs for years and have been reluctant to use invisible fencing. Upon moving to the Portland area recently, and living on a busy street with a large unfenced yard, I decided to try it. Every interaction I had with Glenn was informative, helpful, and extremely professional. His calm demeanor, patience, and knowledge were much appreciated. He provided estimates and completed all work in a very timely manner and according to schedule. While he was vacation, Glenn arranged for the services of the previous owner, Megan, who also was wonderful to work with. I felt tended to at all steps of this project.
Most importantly, I now feel safe letting our dogs out in the yard. They have learned to respect the boundaries of our property which is no small task, given that one of our four dogs was a rescue dog from Puerto Rico who was used to independently roaming miles and miles of land. The fact that he is now staying in our unfenced yard speaks volumes to the effectiveness of this fencing system. We also had a small device installed near our front door inside the house which works in the same manner as the outside fencing and keeps the dogs from charging to and out the front door whenever someone opens the door. Another feat I never thought possible!
One final comment. A few weeks ago I received a hand written note from Glenn, thanking me for purchasing and using his product, and making himself available in the future should any issues arise. The hand written thank you card is, sadly, a dying art, and a gesture that goes miles in solidifying a person/company as a professional, class act. Well done Glenn! Overall an exceedingly rewarding experience, a product that works, and a company that I would have no hesitation in recommending.

The entire installation went well and all was as described and promised.  I would highly recommend Glenn and DogWatch.

We had an EXCELLENT experience all the way from start to finish.  Meghan was responsive immediately upon inquiry by email.  We set a date, she installed it as planned and trained our dog.  We fenced around our yard and our next door neighbors', so she had two completely different dogs to train.  Our 1 year old rat terrier and our neighbors' almost 11 year old mixed breed.  Each dog handled the situation differently, posing different challenges, and Meghan was unflappable.  She came out an extra time to continue training our neighbors' dog and did not charge any extra.  Both dogs are doing really well with the fence, and it has been a major lifestyle shift being able to leave the back door open and knowing the dog will stay in the yard.  We are all very pleased and would absolutely recommend Meghan to anyone looking for a hidden fence.  She was also a much better price than her competitor.

As with many folks in Portland, Oregon, we have a dog. And as with many people we share a fence with our neighbors. Sadly their dogs are quite fence aggressive, which, overtime became a delightful game for our dog. She would charge the fence, run back and forth and create quite a ruckus. As a 120 lb newfie, she smashed plants, ruined trees and made our time outside challenging as we worked to keep her off the fence.

I was hesitant to investigate an invisible fence because I was worried about how the collar may "hurt" my dog. But after one too many tussles at the fence line, I began my search on Angie's List. I contacted Megan, the owner and she returned my message in less than one day. She was out within three days (my schedule had delayed us) to provide an estimate and walk me through our options. She even left behind a remote dog trainer for us to test out until we had the fence in place.

Megan has been amazing. She was thoughtful about the installation, what made sense for the yard and the dog. And not only did she install the fencing, she returned to help us fine tune the programming. We were so happy that we purchased a similar device for walking/hiking. Now when we're out and about on the weekends at the Oregon Coast or Hood River, we can have more control over our big furry giant.

My worries about "hurting" my dog have vanished. She no longer charges the fence. Our backyard is peaceful again -- well on our side. The other dogs can snarl and growl, but our dog simply stays away.  In fact the cat has figured out how to be on the alternate side of the invisible fence and teases her from the other side! 

I highly recommend Megan and DogWatch Hidden Fences. If we ever move, she'll be one of the first folks that I call!

Fantastic experience. We moved into a new house on half acre that backs up to a creek. Its a natural landscape so we didn't want to put regular fencing in which would have also been cost prohibitive. Did some on-line research of the different types of underground fencing, and found DogWatch to have the best product with great customer service reviews. I called Megan, owner/installer/trainer extrordinairre... and she walked me through the process on the phone and answered all my follow up emails. She came out to the house to assess the property, and talk through underground wire placement.. She came out to install on a totally rainy day after two weeks of rain and didn't bat an eye, even though i felt guilty having her install when our yard was so wet! We live on a steep incline that backs up to a creek and I know she had difficulty with sinking into the ground during the install. She never complained once! She then trained our dog and within 20 minutes he got it. She trained us what to do for the first week, then she came back out to proof the dog some more by bringing her dogs out to see if Finn would breach the system. Our dog has a very strong chase drive and this morning he saw a squirrel for the first time and took off like a shot. When he reached the flags and heard the audible tone, he screeched to a halt, and turned away back towards the house, never breaching the line. It was amazing. I cannot say enough good things about Megan, DogWatch, the whole experience. The product itself is fantastic as well and I feel its far superior to all others on the market. I've told everyone about it will keep telling everyone! Thanks so much Megan!.

I was very satisfied with Megan and I would recommend her. She weighed about 110 pounds and insisted on personally running a trench through to put the line in, which was very demeaning for me standing next to her. If the neighbors were watching, they must have wondered why I was not helping her. But she wouldn't accept the help. That was one thing. The other thing was that her husband was doing the electrical which meant that he was sitting on a bucket doing nothing. So he must have got the abuse too. Megan is relatively new at it, less than a couple of years, but she is gifted. I talked to 2 others and she won hands down because of her interaction with my dog. My dog is a 110-pound 10-month-old Irish wolfhound and he is going to get bigger. He is a gentle and sensitive animal and despite his big size, he immediately took to her. The others came here with dogs that were not well-mannered. Her price was very competitive. She did the work in one day. She was 10 minutes early. She was thorough and I would use her again. The price was relative to what she did so that could be very misleading. Her price was $1100.00. The competitive prices were $1500.00 and $1900.00 and I would have paid either of those prices if I had perceived value.
