The letter was not worth the paper it was printed on. I thought that this type of mortgage broker was weeded out during the crash but I was wrong. This company wrote a pre-approval letter that wrecked the lives of 3 people. They encouraged the buyer (who was NOT qualified), sent us a glowing pre-approval SIGNED BY THE CEO, and it was all crap.The company did not perform due-diligence in the pre-approval process and screwed up 3 people's lives. I would stay FAR away from this company if you are a buyer and if you are a seller, ASK for MORE PROOF from the UNDERWRITERS that the buyer is capable before entering into contract on any deal pre-approved by Cosmopolitan. This fiasco cost us a significant amount of time, money and stress, we are now living in a apartment month-month with our entire lives in storage.
