The company owner came Thursday evening, measured and gave us an estimate. We accepted it and, because he had a project cancellation the next day, he fit us in. By 6:00 pm, our fence was complete. We are quite pleased.

Tony power washed the porch and re-stained the floor, steps and railings.  This took 2 days to finish.  He also pulled out some dead bushes and replanted the area with some trees and a water system.  He is very courteous and a conscientious worker.  We are very pleased with his work. He is a great handyman and we would recommend him to others.

New house with the consequent unpleasant surprises when you've moved in. Tony's quote for replacing the decks was comparable with other companies quotes to repair them. We were introduced to Tony by our realtor who had had several clients recommend him. I got my usual four quotes and was wondering whom to use on my mental shortlist of two when my husband met Tony and commissioned him straight away. Tony does a good job, works hard, is trustworthy and thinks about his work - he voices his opinion and makes very valid points and suggestions. He is a good salesman (he talked my husband into having him build me raised garden beds) but he is not too pushy. I appreciated the finishing touches he did, like shaping the edges of the fences. He works fast, and works late to finish jobs.
As a keen gardener I am VERY fussy about how people dig holes for planting, especially in Portland clay. Tony and his team dug big holes and planted correctly. As my husband will tell you, I am very demanding about gardening, so for me to praise them means they did a good job. I have injured my back else I'd be doing the digging, but I'll trust Tony to do the spring round of planting as well.
He build two huge decks and railings, a staircase,  two fences, gates, did some odd jobs around for me at no charge (changed light fittings etc), and did some gardening work including laying paving stones for the trash cans, fixing a path.... the list goes on.
I am going to get him back to do a walk-in closet for me and then more work building a pergola in the spring.
