It went very well. Jose and his crew showed up when he said he was and did an excellent job of taking the grass down and layer my yard with compost. He did an excellent job.

The first two years, the work by Ramirez Landscaping was excellent. I was paying $140 a month, and the service was well worth it. Each time they came, my yard waste barrel was full--my shrubbery was kept trimmed and neat, dried leaves  were all picked up, the yard was mowed, and the grass around roses in my front yard was trimmed by hand. But, as at least one other reviewer has noted, there was a big drop off this year. Not a shrub has been trimmed this summer (except by me), and, except for mowing the grass and blowing off the driveway, no maintenance at all has been done.  After both a written and a verbal request, the ivy is still not trimmed--and that was the main reason I hired him in the first place. Three times this month I happened to be at home when the worker came, and he only stayed 15 minutes. He rushed through mowing the yard so fast that he missed spots.
And then there is the damage: a small rose in the front yard was mowed over, a  wire fence around my flowers was completely destroyed, so I put up a small wooden fence, and one section of that was broken by the lawn mower. Recently a small statue also was broken.  I am extremely disappointed in what has happened, but I can no longer recommend this company.

Work was done early with great results, it made a huge difference on the house. We will work with this company again, owner was excellent to work with.

They come weekly. I just got on there and noticed the reviews then I went direct to them. I’ve been very happy with them. They charge $210 a month. I find that their price is right in there with everyone else.

Jose and his family and crew first came and really did a good job in overhauling my property. Previous gardener did not prune much or at all and I have several big rhododendrons znd other foliage. I thought the initial quote of $2000 to do the overhaul was very steep but he promised me a lot and was very eager to start the work.
I also continued with him at $415.00 month. For the first 6 months or so I was very pleased with their work. Professional, on time and it looked good.
 The difference in quality started about 6-8 months ago. Jose the owner stopped coming himself and only his crew which speaks minimal english and understands even less. The leaves in the autumn were a problem because they did not haul many of the quadtrillion leaves and dumped them on the perimeter of my property in the back where previous gardeners did and I told Jose I thought it looked bad and did not want his guys to do it. He agreed to haul off the leaves. This did not happen.
At the end of summer 2014 I asked Jose to prune some of my many foliage because it was overgrown and looking so. He did most of the "pruning" with a chainsaw and he "butchered" some of my gorgeous rhodoendrons that had been beautiful during the spring when they bloom. I decided to wait and see what would happen this spring because I thought they may have enough new growth to still look good this summer. I will have few very few blooms this year and a few of my once large neautiful rhododendrons may not make it because he butchered them way too far back and I think cannot recuperate. I pay $415/month and literally sometimes all his men do is blow the debris and rake it up. Nothing more. Gone in less than a half hour.
So his quality has dropped substanhtially and I am very sad how several of my rhododendrons have not responded back and make it. They were once very beautiful large expensive rhododendrons.

As stated above, Jose and his crew are excellent.  I have several rose bushes; Jose keeps them trimmed properly.  He really knows plants and what they need.  I cannot say enough about Jose and his crew.

Ramirez Landscaping did a wonderful job. I was very happy, plus they cleaned everything up when they were done. In fact, I have hired them to do weekly maintenance for us. I would highly recommend this company.

It all went very well. I will be hiring Jose for all my landscaping and general yard work.

My husband called Jose on Sunday evening to set up an appointment for an estimate. Jose said he would be come at 8:20 Monday morning.   Jose was prompt, asked appropriate questions to be clear about the job and gave a fair estimate and said he could start the next morning.  Jose again was on time and completed the job in 6 hours in 95 degree heat!  He cleaned up the job site when he was done.  We are more than satisfied with a job well done.  It has never looked so good!
     We will use Jose again.

I called several landscapers yesterday requesting estimates. Jose called me back within a couple of hours and gave me an estimate the same day. Today he came and did the work. Hedge looks great! He hauled away all of the trimmings and left the area looking great. I would definitely call on Jose again.
