Description of Work: This is a hard review to complete. Basically, Olsen ended his business in the middle of my project. In retrospect, he underbid the project, and probably several others at the same time. He also collected interim payments targeted for several sub-contractors which were never paid. He did my project in two phases. The first he missed substantial permitting requirements and geo work. By the time that was done, the project was too late in the year to continue and was put on hold until early 2014 - after collecting approximately $100,000. My house was without insulation and siding for the winter and wrapped in Tyvek. He then started a phase 2, with a contract, for an additional $250,000 (roughly) and went out of business after collecting over $110,000 from me, and paid out under $30,000 to his sub-contractors. Others were more significantly impacted than I. I continued to work with some of his sub-contractors to move the project forward, but also working with other sub's to complete other phases of the project now.

+ -1 moreOlsen was the primary contractor. The project took about 14 months to complete. We had sub-contractors who did detailed work throughout the project. We were unhappy with some of the sub-contractors.
Description of Work: Olsen Homes & Renovations completely remodeled our kitchen and two other rooms.
