Bill at McCulloch Roofing saved our butt in several ways. We needed work quickly done at the absolute height of his season (we were getting some major work done to our chimney, which was half way finished before we realized that the flooding damage to our roof was so extensive that we needed to take care of that first before the chimney guys could even proceed). With the rainy season about to start and a gaping whole in our roof (absolutely the wrong time to be looking for roofers to be suddenly available), and after having received a first bid on the job that absolutely blew our budget, er, through the roof), Bill came in with no room on his schedule, surveyed what needed to be done, and then came in with a bid that was so much lower and actually had to verify with him later that he understood the scope of what I was asking for. He was so busy on other jobs that he then came in at odd times, when he had a couple of hours to work, evenings and on a weekend day. He got it done. We totally needed someone to come through for us, and he didn't let us down, and our final price was only 28 to 30 % what the first guy estimated (who obviously realized our desperate need, and tried to take advantage of it). And his work is great. For the first time since we bought our house, and with the chimney work, our basement hasn't leaked at all, through some very big storms recently. I couldn't recommend Bill or McCullough Roofing more. Super-dependable, beyond honest and reasonable, a solid trustworthy guy and company.

Bill from McCullough roofing did a great job of explaining what was wrong with the roof, gave us options and ultimately provided a great product. The roof looks good and there are no more leaks. Roofing is expensive and messy but they handled it very well.

Bill saw that i needed some plywood replaced in areas involving a remodel/addition we did in the nineties. He showed me pictures and explained the need and solution. His crew were on time, polite, and expert at their job. They put in long hours. Bill was here much of the time to oversee.
Bill let me know about a squirrel that has taken residence in my soffitt, so i am glad he informed me so i can deal with that, too.

Worked with Bill throughout the project from bid through completion. His initial bid was close to the other major competitor (a third had bid the project $20,000 higher than the others, so it really wasn't considered) but included trim work on the top of the building that the other competitor didn't want to do (referred me to another company for it). During the bid process, Bill was very thorough. He made a second trip out to confirm that we didn't have an asbestos problem (old building), and took the time to make sure I understood what was being done and why.
Being a relatively large project, we had to wait for a good stretch of weather and for his crew to be available for it. Once we signed the bid, it took approximately 30 days for the project to get started. His crew did a great job of keeping the surrounding area clear and safe for our customers, and left no trace of the extensive tear-off work that preceded the re-roof. We discovered that the plywood underlayment on the back half of the building was rotted though and needed to be replaced. Bill had warned me that we might encounter this, and the replacement wood fell into the range that we had planned for.
Because of the specialized nature of the membrane roof, it was necessary for Bill to be on-sight to for the actual installation. It was at this point that the project bogged down for a couple of weeks while he juggled our job and several others. He did a great job of communicating to me, so while I knew what was going on, I had hoped to wrap things up in a more timely manner.
The finished roof looks great. When the first heavy rains hit we had a couple of leaky areas. I called Bill who was out the same day and tracked them down. One leaky area turned out to be some missing caulk around two window frames, and while it wasn't related to his job, he re-caulked the frames for me anyway.
The overall experience with Bill and McCullough Roofing was excellent. From the reception folks throughout the entire crew I felt like our business mattered to them. Would highly recommend them based on my experience.

Crew showed up every day by 6:30 a.m. and worked ALL day, until 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. It was in the 90's and must have been sweltering on the roof but they kept working. Did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves every day. I especially appreciated that they used a stiff broom to sweep conrete areas rather than a power blower that seems to just spread the debris.

McCullough Roofing was initially referred to me by my painter. After reviewing his companies work on Angie's List
I felt that he was the one to choose. From the first contact to completion, Bill proved to be professional,
patient and a man of his word. He assisted in upgrading the shingles to a algae block quality and selected
the perfect shingle color for my home. His work crew of four were great workers and did an excellent
job at installing the shingles. Their cleanup following the installation past all inspections!

Amazing! They were quick, left a beautiful new roof and not a speck of mess after they were done.

tearing off the old roof...installing stainless steel flashings as needed around skylights, vent pipes..haul away..used stainless nails..replaced the facia wooden members..(special request for carefully selected boards, which they did provide) They have a very experienced crewmaster that came early to check the site and job out with its somewhat limited driveway access..a very tight fit for delivery of the roofing materials that did work..the owner of this roofing company was present at that delivery..the job took longer because of the steep roof lines..(12 in 12) and minor issues arose and the company quickly took care of the issues without issue.
And, they are coming back for another last full check and correction of several small items that still need attention.

They had to tear off the new roof cap to install the zinc strips, which should have been done prior to putting the ridge cap on. But they did remedy that for me. They also did not seal all of the skylight windows, so my husband had to do that.

They were the lowest bid by $3000 dollars. Garth gave us an estimate in a few days. Then they called after we had the bid, they'd had a cancellation, so could squeeze us in the next day. They started the project by 8 AM and were done by 2 PM. They were fast and efficient, professional, and Garth came out a day later and inspected the job, and completed the venting.
