He went on the roof, in the attic, under the house.
He was very particular and spent a lot of time.
For the most part did a very good job.
He did report a leaking toliet in the bath because of excessive misture. When the plumber came he could not fine a leak, he pulled the toliet anyway and found eveything fine, no leaks and everthing dry.
Also reported a problem with an electrical ground, I had an electrician come and he said that is was normal for an old house.

Gary was about $55 less than another estimate we received. He was also able to schedule us more quickly. My realtor said she thought Gary was "nitpicky," so I considered this a compliment. He brought to our attention several issues that we are now having fixed by the sellers. He explained the issues after the inspection, we received the report that evening. I needed to call him to assess the severity of one issue and he answered the phone and was more than happy to explain it to me. He didn't take a picture of one thing he pointed out in the crawl space, and we wished he had. Overall, I'd highly recommend him.

Gary is always prompt. He brings everything he needs, and is calm and patient. He brings overalls that he changes into while in the crawlspaces. He is happy to have you along and answers questions thoroughly. The report you receive contains enough information that I've always kept it in a kitchen drawer to refer to frequently, instead of 'losing' it in a file with my Escrow papers.

I have had Gary do many inspections for me, and he is thorough w/o being an alarmist, and takes as much time as necessary to explain any problems and possible solutions. He is very knowledgeable and has been a Whole House Inspector since forever. License # is something like 17...one of the first.
