veterinary care. She was on a fast decline and I was afraid I was losing her. Once we switched to Dr. Judkin's holistic care, she has made a slow and steady recovery - regained her normal weight and by all accounts is now thriving although we still monitor things as we go. Thank to Dr. Judkins and his assistant Jenny for their attentiveness, professionalism and excellent care!

He is a holistic veterinarian and he is absolutely wonderful. His name is Dr. Jeffery Judkins and the practice is Animalkind Holistic Veterinary Clinic in Jacksonville. I would like other Angie's List members to know that he is not pushing all sorts of synthetic horrible drugs on dogs and cats. He has found different ways to treat animals that are other than big pharma. He treats them with acupuncture and acupressure and things like that. He is not just out to make a bunch of money. He is here because he really is interested in the animals themselves. I would absolutely use this veterinarian again in the future.

My senior Boston terrier was having episodes of frantic barking and shaking. First vet didn't offer a diagnosis, but suggested it might be some sort of seizure. Poor dog sounded like he was shrieking with pain,though, not seizing. Dr. I quickly found the spot on his spine where he'd pinched a nerve. After one acupuncture treatment, he was better, moving more freely and having fewer episodes, which didn't last as long. Next day, second treatment: the little guy visibly relaxed on the examining table, as if to say, ah, here's the man who relieved my pain. So far, no more episodes of shrieking and shaking with pain. He's zipping around again with his younger companions and happy again! Thank you, Dr. J! Dr. I is a good diagnostician. He also found a heart murmur in my other dog that at least two other vets had missed! This office has a really nice atmosphere--very calm and quiet, a good place for healing. Highly recommend!

The cat, Chaz, was melting into the floor, listless, so I took him straight to Dr. Jeff. He rehydrated Chaz, gave me some holistic stuff to put between Chaz' teeth (it worked!) and a few days later he was on the mend and has been doing his dog/cat thing with vigor - follows the dog and I on our evening walks.
