TWO BROTHERS LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE

For regular lawn mowing and basic maintenance, which is 75% of what I needed them for, they do fine. But the rest of it was sometimes hit or miss. Some examples: - I asked them to deadhead our rhodies, but they pruned some of them instead, which is not the same thing. It'll probably be several years before these rhodies bloom again where they were pruned. - In the fall they let leaves build up under some plantings instead of raking or blowing them out. When I asked about having them removed I was told it would be extra cost. - Our front lawn was looking sparse, so in the spring I asked them to thatch it, spread topsoil, and reseed with a hardy and drought-resistant blend. By the end of the summer the lawn was looking exactly as bad as it did before. To be fair, this may not be their fault! On the plus side, Jacob who runs this concern is easy to reach via email and usually very responsive, and the crew are friendly and fast. Bottom line: Fine for basic maintenance. However, if you want anything beyond that, I would highly recommend being very clear about what you need, and then being there to watch what they do to make sure it's done right.

Although the "Two Brothers" did not weed the way we do - dig up whole plant, root and all - they did work very fast and remove all weeds. They simply cut the weeds off, which is OK in late June I guess. They were careful of plants and seemed to know the difference between weeds and plants (only one 'oops' which is about what I do). Although they are good, we have now turned to teenagers to finish the job. There are lots of them and we are supervising their work, paying them appropriate wages and getting the good quality work..

They called back immediately when I left a message. They came out the next day to give an estimate. They showed up on time and they look and act very professional. The work was excellent. They did everything they said they would and more. We were so pleased that we contracted with them to perform regular maintenance of our lawn. They have been doing this for two weeks already and the results are wonderful. The weekly maintenance program is only costing us $80/month.
