+ -1 moreDave came highly recommended from another contractor (different specialty) and was polite, professional and on time for our appointment. I asked him to bid on an addition to my home and he was incredibly thorough in the process of asking questions as to exactly what I wanted to the point of sending sub-contractors to my home, which is where my needed feeling of confidence disappeared. My feeling is a general contractor should know enough that there should be no need to send anyone else. It was mainly the fact that he needed to send sub-contractors to my home (one of whom just showed up without warning) caused doubt in my mind and I chose to go with someone else.
