Rick Harrington came highly recommended and he was a great person to work with. He was very positive and helpful throughout the remodel process. I always felt he had my best interests at heart. Rick was always reachable, and very responsive, which is important in any contractor. His bid was very reasonable and there were no hidden fees. All of his team workers were very skilled, easy to work with, and reliable. When we encountered the normal hiccups in any remodel, he maintained his can-do attitude and helped to work things out. The bathrooms turned out great and I am happy to recommend Rick.

Very responsive - nearly immediate response to texts or by phone call. Had us order tile through distributor using his discount. Have a minimal amount of left over - but more than enough for future repairs. Was able to fit the job in when we needed it to be done, showed up promptly when scheduled, did a beautiful job. No comment on price. Rick came highly recommended and I didn't price shop, as the price seemed reasonable to me.

Rick is a sweet talker who gave us a seemingly fair price for our tile job. We agreed on a price for the installation. Then 2 days after Rick got the job he came back and said I would have to also pay extra for the tile bull nosing. When I asked him how much this would be he said ''well thats going to be between you and the polishing shop.' this was my first clue that Rick was being less than honest about the job he was hired for, since he quoted the price and later threw in the extra cost which ended up being an additional $1,575. My fault for going any further with these people. Now it came to ordering the tile. It is a very expensive Travertine tile. Rick was at our house and told us to order 49 pieces of the Travertine. These were very large almost 4.7 square foot tiles. The tile distributor said he had never heard of someone ordering that much tile for our square footage. Rick insisted he was right and guess what, he had us order way too much tile. He did not even use 30 pieces. So we were left with 19 pieces of $7.50/square foot non-returnable tile totaling $642. At this point Rick had collected 3/4 of the job total from us since the back splash was to be the last part of the job. So then he tells us to order 17 pieces of the back splash. These are one foot square and 23.74 each piece, imported from Tuscany. So Rick shows up to install the back splash and what do ya know, he did not order enough this time. We ended up 4 pieces short. Since the tile was custom order we waited the 2 weeks to get the last batch. Here's where it gets good. I have been trying to get Rick to come back and finish his job that I have now paid him for in full. I have been calling him everyday for the last month. He tells me he will show up and finish at such and such time, No show every time, Now he wont answer my calls or return them, I call his son and same thing. If you want to get ripped off then Square One Tile Setting is the place for you. I will never refer this company to anyone as i don't like people who steal.

I had joined Angie's list recently and found Square One Tile Setting, Rick Harrington. Received an estimate from Rick and was out to install my beautiful tile kitchen backsplash within one week. I had recently purchased the materials and Rick did a superior job installing the tile backsplash. Rick and Mikey arrived on time on the two days promised. They worked hard for two days to complete the backsplash. Rick went above and beyond the expectations and did a couple of additional small projects for me. The backsplash turned out beautiful and I am very satisfied with the work he did. He gave me an estimate on replacing my kitchen floor in the near future. He told me where to go to purchase the floor tiles at a reasonable price.

Rick is fantastic--he measured my daughter's kitchen, directed me to a great tile place, gave me a very good price,
and was on top of everything as soon as the tile came in.  His crew did a quick, clean demo, and immediately put in
beautiful new tile, grouted it, replaced all moldings, and repaired a wall that had been a mess with new bead board.
He also fixed a leak he found in her dishwasher which would have caused problems in the near future.  Everything
went quickly and smoothly, and after cleanup the place looks like it's out of HGTV!

We were referred to Rick by Crowley's Tile. Rick was so nice! He happened to have a opening in his schedule and came the next day. He notched out the opening and the sink fits perfectly!!! He was a lifesaver! We also got an estimate on a tile backsplash and will be having him install it sometime this spring after our kitchen cabinetry work is finished. I would highly recommend him!

Rick is a terrific tile installer--he came up with the design for my new kitchen backsplash, told me
where to purchase the tile, and then installed it for me. He was punctual, friendly, very skilled and
reasonable. It was comfortable having him in my home and he did not disrupt any of the normal
routine. I highly recommend his service.
