We just bought a house and were pressed for time in getting some new drywall up. Their bid was 700 dollars less than the highest bid (and they would not have been able to start for two weeks) The work crew was very professional and cleaned up after themselves. The Kemper company worked like a well oiled machine and they finished when they said they would three days later. I have no complaints about this company and I would refer them to my friends.

We had a very positive experience. They did a very nice job. They were completing the work in January, with very little heat in the home. The crew just did an excellent job.

They arrived when they said they would. There work was first class. They did a good job of protecting the house and cleaning up after the job. I will use them again.

Our experience with Kemper was good. Their bid was competitive, and the work was done promptly. The only gripe (and a minor one at that) was that their subs were really unable to communicate with me due to their lack of English skills. This slowed things down a little, in that I had to contact the job manager - Bill Trembath - to deal with a few minor issues. I'd consider using them again, but probably shop around also to make sure the price was still in the ball park.

They did an amazing job! We called and told them how badly we messed up. They were out the next day and repaired the drywall within a couple of hours. They scraped everything we did, and put their own quality work and touch to the job. We would use this company again in the future.

They were pretty quick, available and they came out quickly as per schedule. It was fine. I might probably not use them in the future.

They had to come out 3 times to complete the service. The first time they came out the texturing was not completed correctly so they came out the next day to repair the texturing. Then they left on the 2nd day without cleaning up the over spray on the floor so they had to come out a 3rd time to clean up the floor.

The work was excellent, the price was great and the experience was fantastic. I was a bit nervous because Kemper provided the most competitive quote I received (and sometimes the lowest price is lowest for a reason...), however I decided to go with Kemper because the estimators were really knowledgable and I had a good feeling about their work-- and I also read good things about them on Angieslist. I was more than pleased with the results, as they were better than I could have hoped. The team was great, arriving on time, answering all my questions and working quickly and efficiently. As they firred out one of the walls and framed in its doorway, they also took time to walk through the various options I had available to me regarding finishing the doorway with a carpenter. They helped me figure out what I wanted to have done with the doorway, and subsequently adjusted their framing based on my desired end-state. This was a surprise to me, because I was slightly fearful that they would come in, get it done and leave and never consult with me to make sure that we were staying aligned on expectations and goals. However, their focus on customer service and clear ongoing communication left me feeling connected, aligned and pleased. The end results look fantastic and now I'm in the process of having the carpenter do the finish work on the doorway, floorboards, etc. The finishing touch was when they told me that if I have any touch-up work that came up along the way on these walls, to give them a call and they would come out and fix it with no charge. That is creating a customer for life! I would absolutely recommend Kemper for drywalling work. They more than exceeded my expectations!

I call Kemper on a Tuesday morning. The following Thursday the estimator came by to measure and that afternoon emailed me the estimate. I called and excepted it the same day. Firay the project manger called and by Tuesday of the next week they were here working. I was so surprised as I was expecting a 3 or 4 week lag time. They worked around my time. They showed up on time, put in a full day and cleaned up before leaving everyday. They will be doing more work for me.

During the process we had difficulty explaining things to the workers due to a language barrier. We would have to have them stop working and bring in the foreman and go over the problems. This happened quite often. They could not figure out how to drywall down the steps so my husband ended up doing that, it was a more difficult area, curves downwards, but they are the professionals. Once they said they were done with the smooth walls they did not inspect the work with lights reflecting to be sure there was not dimpling. We began painting and found dimpling/orange peel which happens when you over spray the primer on the walls. They also cracked the exterior stucco on the house when they hammered into place their interior scaffolding. They were compeltely aware of it, but are trying to deny it now. They sprayed our new concrete sidewalks with primer when their gun broke and had to power wash it re-stain it and seal it. They tried blocking off the sidewalks for numerous days to do this since they did not plan it around good weather and we had to remove the barriers after a day or two and then they accuse us of getting in the way of them completing their work! Their work is not done at this point and they have filed a lien. The owner, the father told us verbally that it would be removed, but the son has refused and now they are trying to take us to court. We have made attempts to come to terms with them including having them come to the house per their request to cover the problems but the son refused to acknowledge the list, sign it or remove the lien. The letters that they have written to us in corespondance are threatening and completely unprofessional they have even threatened the better business bureau when I filed a complaint with them.

Due to the old wallpaper paste on the plaster, the initial plaster didn't stick. There was a slight delay at that time, but once resolved everything moved along well. They applied primer over the old plaster, then applied two coats of plaster followed by another coat of primer. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the constant communication about the progress.

The guy who came out to do the work was quick and did an amazing job. You absolutely could not tell where they had patched anything. Everything was seamless. The texturing was perfect. This is actually the second time I've used them and if I need a drywaller in the future I will definitely use them again.

The fit of the sheetrock had to be customized because of the year of the house. They had to drywall, texture, joint, ceilings and primed all of their work. Their customer service is just amazing; we always had the same foreman "Shawn," they fixed the small custom things that made the job come together. They send a cleaning crew out to clean-literally clean with sponges and buckets, no powder residue, overspray, that sort of thing. 'When they are done, you are ready to paint.' We always bid it out, but we come back to Kemper

Overall the process was OK. There was a slight communication error on their part about the type of material we wanted on the ceilings, so the start date was set back. However, they were able to make up time and finish the project on time. Also, they underestimated the amount of materials they needed, but they were able to procure additional materials quickly to finish on time. They performed a walk through prior to work starting to inspect the framing so that the finished product would turn out better. The workers were courteous and professional. However, the quality of the finished product was not as I expected for the price. It might have been because they were rushing to complete the project on schedule.

I was referred to Kemper by Kenz Insulation. (Both did a great job.) I called to let them know I wanted a bid and someone called me back within 2-3 minutes. This was exceptional given that I had called 3 companies prior -- 1 still hasn't called me back, and the other two said they were too busy to even give me a bid and to call them back if I couldn't find someone else to do it. Paul from Kemper came out to give me a bid the next day and was able to schedule the work the next week. It took a couple extra days than anticipated, but it wasn't a big deal as I wasn't in a huge hurry. Paul was great at communicating with me, and I was lucky enough to have him supervise the job. The quality of the work was amazing. The only issue I had was that the workers mistakenly took my level and on the last day one of them broke a lamp in the living room, but I determined a fair value for both items and discussed with Paul to deduct that amount from my remaining amount due.

Paul came out and looked at the problem, and after a few scheduling hiccups, a few days later, someone else came out and made the actual repair. The actual repair took about 90 minutes. The young man, Matell, was very polite and very careful. He taped plastic all around. He repaired the hole. It looks great, although now in need of paint! After he stowed his tools in his truck, he picked up all the plastic and swept up the little bits of plaster dust and took it all away. I was quite impressed.
