Also have leaks a few years after re-roof (30 year shingles were supposedly used) I don't think it's the shingles, it's the way they were applied, or maybe it was poor caulking of seams. Anyway, asked him for help with the leak and so far he has ghosted me. No reply, despite my asking for response a second time.

Jensen roofing did a roof for me approx. 9 years ago. We noticed a leak in the dining room during a heavy storm. He came out and said the nails on the roof vents popped and that is why it leaked. If caulk is the first line of defense I would question that. This was a active leak! he didn't offer to fix it, he didn't offer to tarp the roof..nothing. His offer was to email me a bid, that I haven't received and on he went with his day. No follow up whatsoever. I understand nothing lasts forever, I also understand there is maintenance to be done but a roof should not leak in 9 years. He seemed to careless about the leaks and had no pride in the roof he installed and I was really disappointed. My in-laws also had a roof done by him on their outdoor covered patio, it appears that is leaking too. So I guess beware. In all fairness to him, I have done many many roofs and to my knowledge these are the only 2 that have leaked but I wouldn't be using him again in the future.

Very nice and great to work with. The Job was done even earlier than we had agreed to and it was done fast. They added downspouts on two corners that did not exist before without my asking and that was great! They had the best price too. The roof has been though many rains and has not leaked and it looks great. The gutters work great too. They did not even asked for any money up front!

Everything went very smoothly. I requested a quote for repairs, cleaning, moss treatment and replacement of pipe boots as well as cost for a roof replacement. The quote was very fair and I ended up going with the repairs only. Luis gave me good information about the condition of the roof and an estimated remaining lifespan. The crew was clean and professional and let me know when they were finished.

Jose was fantastic to work with. He even came out twice during the bidding process, the first time to create his proposal and a second time to walk me through each stop of the project in detail. Jose was also easy to get a hold of throughout the process. His crew showed up when expected and did great work. I'd definitely work with Jose again.

I would rate all categories an A. They were a low bidder. Their crew was clean. They cleaned up everything. I didn't have any issues with that. They worked quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use them in the future.

We choose Jensen Roofing and Construction for our roofing project over several other bids we received. Jose's bid was one of the best from a price standpoint, but more importantly we appreciated the way he went about bidding the job; asking us what we needed and responding to our questions about some siding issues we had. In addition to the new roof, he replaced some damaged siding and installed a new skylight. We had him reframe our garage doors and add flashing for extra protection from the rain. He also replaced all the fascia boards on the house at our request. It was great that he was more than just a roofer - he could handle the additional work as well without having to get another contractor to do it. Jose was very articulate and communicated well so we both completely understood the job at hand, what was needed, and what our expectations were. His crew was efficient, friendly, and did a marvelous job. They are very hard workers! The site was kept neat and when the job was done, completely clean. Jose even left the toe boards on a steep section of our roof where the painters were going to work so as not to damage the new roof. We really appreciated that. We found Jose to be very honest and open, and a genuinely nice man. We love our roof, have received many compliments from our neighbors, and highly recommend Jensen Roofing and Construction.

We were very pleased with the work that was performed. The workers were all very polite and courteous. I totally felt confident that they were doing a great job. They cleaned up nicely each day and when the job was complete. They hauled away all of the debris and cleaned up materials that blew around the yard. They are very hard workers. The roof and patio cover look great and I have already referred Jensen Roofing to another friend. I am a Realtor and Jensen has replaced several roofs for my clients. All have been very pleased with their work and the cost.

We were very satisfied, and as I explained above it was a job well done.

Definite pluses: I checked with Salem and the contractor had a current license. He was on the job site to help and supervise his crew. We picked out shingles out from Woodfeathers, in Oregon City. When the job was complete we paid Woodfeathers and they paid the roofer, so we knew that the materials were paid for. We were able to pay with our visa. The owner is a naturalized citizen (Hispanic) who drives his daughter to private school each day in Portland from Hubbard. Excellent work ethic!
