 + -1 moreMy husband and I returned to the store to talk to the manager, who turned out to be Ricardo. We didn't want him to give us the pop-up trundle, but the best he would do is sell it to us for $114. We decided we'd rather pay more than buy there again. The overall experience began well, but ended poorly, and we won't be returning to Furniture Outlet.
Description of Work: We were in the market for a daybed with a trundle, and were looking at one at their showroom in Tigard. The salesman came over and demonstrated the pop-up trundle for us, and then a bit later for some friends who were elsewhere in the store. We asked the price and were told $219 plus the mattresses. This was a really good price, so we ordered it and two mattresses and paid $69 for delivery. The delivery came a week or so later, and there was no pop-up trundle. The delivery person called in and I called and spoke to Ricardo. He said the pop-up trundle always must be ordered separately, and I asked why wasn't I told that and that written on the order. It should have been very obvious to the salesman that we wanted the trundle. I also asked why would I have ordered two mattresses if I weren't getting the trundle? He said "I don't know." Ricardo quoted a price of $129 for the trundle. I told him I'd call if I wanted it.

 + -1 moreJENNIFER HELPED US AND WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. SHE GOT US A VERY GOOD DEAL BECAUSE WE WERE BUYING BOTH ITEMS. THE BEDROOM SET WAS DELIVERED WITHIN 2 WEEKS BY THE COMPANY AND THE DELIVERY MEN WERE PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. THE GATHERING TABLE TOOK A VERY LONG TIME TO ARRIVE. REPEATEDLY WE WERE TOLD THAT IT WAS ON BACK ORDER. WE WERE NOT REALLY KEPT UP TO DATE ON THE STATUS OF IT WITHOUT REPEATEDLY CALLING AND THEN ONLY WHEN WE WENT IN PERSONALLY WERE THEY ABLE TO SAY IT WAS IN THE STOREROOM.
Description of Work: WE BOUGHT A NEW BEDROOM SET FOR OUR GUEST ROOM (QUEEN BED, DRESSER, AND NIGHTSTAND) PLUS A GATHERING TABLE AND CHAIRS

 + -1 moreWE HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. THEY ARE ALL WONDERFUL SALES PEOPLE AND HONEST TO WORK WITH. EVEN THOUGH OUR SALES GUY WAS GONE THE DAY WE WENT BACK IN TO CHECK ON IT, EVERY ONE HELPS US LIKE WE WERE NEW CUSTOMERS. THEY DELIVERED OUR FURNITURE TWO WEEKS EARLY.
Description of Work: WE WENT IN THE SHOWROOM TO LOOK FOR A HIDE A BED COUCH. WE WANTED EITHER A SECTIONAL OR JUST A COUCH FOR OUR BONUS ROOM FOR GUEST.
