The principal of the company is Rob Dressen and we would definitely recommend him. We've had other custom work done from other cabinet makers so we are experienced in that type of work. He was knowledgeable and meticulous. His pricing was better than average, you definitely got what you paid for or more.

I initially contacted Rob to build us a master bathroom cabinet. Our 1973 era home posed many challenges. The walls were not square, floors were not level and there were pipes sticking out of the floor, etc. Rob did an excellent job on the bathroom cabinet and although we were not planning to immediately remodel the kitchen, we decided to have him do our kitchen cabinets. We coudn't wait until he was done so we could see the final product. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets are to die for. Every single detail is perfect. Which brings me to another point. The detail and the deisgn are incredible. It's functional and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. We were able to maximize space utilizing every square inch of cabinets. I have a bookcase for my cookbooks, plenty of drawers, lazy susan, pull out tray near the sink, euro hinges, double layer crown molding. We love the design around the microwave and how the area for the microwave jets out, adding interest and dimension to the design. The double crown molding is different and also adds a lot of interest. The upper cabinets go to the ceiling and the doule crown molding and tall upper cabinets make the kitcen look very large. The maple has a beautiful grain and the clear finish feels very smooth. Rob helped us as we moved along with our project. Communication was excellent. He was able to advise us as we made plans for the ceramic tile for the floor, height of the appliances in relation to the height of the cabinets and countertop etc. I have posted some pictures so you can see his work. Please try to overlook the unfinished floor and the fact that the appliance are not yet installed. If I am able to edit them after the appliances and tile are installed, I will try to do that. I had another cabinet maker build us some kitchen cabinets in the past and I thought they looked great however after seeing the quality of Robs cabinets, it became clear to me that the other cabinets we had built were of inferior quality. Rob gives you both a beautiful cabinet and quality that will stand up to time. We enjoyed working with Rob-he is easy going and will build you a kitchen as if it were his own. We cannot say enough good things about him. We highly recommend Dressen Designs to anyone planning a kitchen or bathroom remodel or to even have him build you a piece of furniture. Rob is an artisan and an expert in what he does. This is what sets him apart from the others.
