My daughter and I ate dinner at the restaurant. Good menu. Food was great. Service was good. Their garlic rolls are worth the trip alone! One of the great places to dine in downtown Hillsboro.

I love this place and I frequently take out-of-town visitors there for lunch or dinner, often in conjunction with a chamber orchestra performance, a lecture, or the showing of a classic movie such as Casablanca. The place is a classic 1930s movie palace which has been saved from the wrecking ball (barely in time) and restore to its glory. The theater itself is opulent and has very comfortable seats and outstanding acoustics. A huge old project or is displayed just outside the auditorium as a piece of sculpture. The bistro part features a full bar and a very good, though limited, menu. The artisan pizzas are a favorite of mine, but every dish I have sampled is made with an unusual twist. The place is said to be haunted, and on one occasion our waiter told us he had met the ghost at the stage door entrance one night.
