If you value your trees stay away from this company. They're not arborists, they're lumberjacks and they're much more concerned with their bottom line than actually saving your trees. They'll say anything to get paid for cutting down your trees even if the trees are perfectly healthy. As I write this they're outside my house cutting down a healthy 12 year old maple because they convinced the HOA president that it needed to come down "as soon as possible". Needless to say the HOA president isn't the brightest and I'm sure the estimator is laughing all the way to the bank.

We were highly impressed with this company starting with the person who came to our house to provide a quote to the crew that came to cut the tree. Everyone was professional and the crew were extremely careful with our property and surrounding vegetation. We would hire this company for tree services again.

NW Tree Specialists were prompt and professional, were able to accommodate my schedule in order to provide me with a quote, and did a great job removing an overgrown laurel hedge (including one section that had essentially become a tree) and grinding down the stumps afterward. I would be glad to hire them again.

From the assessment appointment to the actual felling of the tree, NW Tree Specialists were punctual, professional and easy to deal with. They made quick work of bringing down the tree and leaving manageable pieces of the tree to split into firewood. Definitely would hire again and highly recommend!

Their consultant, Rick McKinney, made an appointment to assess the work to be done and promptly provided an estimate by e-mail of the cost and the expected date they could perform the work. Of four bids submitted, theirs was the best. But it was not only on price that I asked them to do the job. NWTS has done numerous jobs for us in the past and has always performed superbly and been competitive on price. Two days before the date scheduled for the work I received a call telling me when their crew would arrive. The crew arrived early, performed safely (I watched the entire job--nearly 3-hours), and left the job site clean. On the couple of occasions when I spoke with their office staff, I found them to be courteous and efficient. I highly recommend NWTS.

They were very good. They came out when they said they were going to, to give us an estimate. We decided when grappled with yes we really do need to take these gorgeous trees out. They were fine. They came when they said they would. They didn’t disturb anything. They were fine.

From start to finish the job was done right. Crew was efficient and knowledgeable. We are very pleased.

Great as usual! My consultant has been Rick the last few times and he details each project so I can figure out which of my wish list items I can have done. This time, was a have to have plus a wish item!

Rick did the initial estimate and recommended an orchard prune for the cherry tree. The estimation process and the scheduling all went without a hitch. Not surprisingly, the date for the work slipped by a few days as it had been scheduled for a week after our January snow storm; actually I was surprised that it only slipped a few days, as we all remember the city coming to a complete halt for a good 3 or 4 days. Kyle did the actual pruning of the cherry tree, discussed with me beforehand what his ideas were for it, and I have to say I was amazed by what a good job he did; it's really a different tree now. I will definitely be calling the folks back on an annual basis to keep the tree in as good a shape as they left it this time. Every thing was hauled away and the yard left in clean condition. A mention should also be made of the ladies who staff the phones....always polite, helpful and professional. I don't know why anyone would not use these folks for their tree work.

It worked out great. The workers were great, cleaned up after themselves, used a blower.

Northwest arrived on the appointed day, removed the tree and cleaned up our yard and our neighbors yard satisfactorily.
