Their service department is really good. Whenever they tell me to come in, I go in. I take a book, and I wait for them to get done. They are good, kind, and nice. The gentleman that takes care of me is really good. It took about a half hour.

We bought our Toyota Highlander from Royal Moore because their fleet manager provided us with a competitive quote right from the start. No haggling. No running around town low-balling other dealers. The sales guy who worked with me is named David. Nice guy.

David was willing to humor my needs to check this and that, measure headroom and such. No problems with test drives. Once I decided I liked the car, he did the standard, and quot;can we earn your business todayand quot; moves towards selling a car. Fine by me, I was looking for a car and I liked that one. Once we started talking price, he started with the and quot;extraand quot; sticker, but after I rejected that, we negotiated to a very reasonable price. I got a good price on the car and a good price on my trade-in.

The closer in the and quot;financeand quot; department was nice too. Had some pre-arranged forms where I could add extra warranty and the other and quot;extrasand quot;. I didn't take them, but I did observe that he seemed willing to work with me on those too.

The paperwork path was easy. Once we arrived at the price and trade, it was less than 90 minutes to get from YES to driving away in my new car.

I would do business with them again.

Easy time making an appointment. You are free to wait in their lounge with WIFI, or they will drop you at work and pick you up. Routine maintenance tasks have always gone well. Once after a 30,000 service, they also washed the car, no charge.

I attempted to contact several service centers in the Portland area. My check engine light came on, and I needed it checked, but we can't get away from work for appointments and really needed a weekend appointment. Several places called me back (after I requested e-mail communication) to tell me that they could not get us in on the weekend. I was about to give up hope, and received an e-mail from Royal Moore confirming my Saturday appointment. We arrived a little early and they still greeted us with a smile. Both gentlemen listened to myself and my husband's descriptions of the problems. About an hour after we dropped off the car, they called us with a report and did not pressure me to choose the most expensive options. We elected to have a few services done. They estimated they would be done, and called at 1pm that day to let us know it was finished. The price was slightly less than the estimate they gave us. I would recommend their service to anyone, they listened to my needs and didn't treat me like I had no knowledge just because I'm a woman.

It was great. They brought my husband back home. The staff was friendly and they did what they said they would do. They gave me an estimate and it was right in the ball park of what I paid. We were surprised because dealers are usually high.

A little over a year ago I took my truck to Royal Moore because my sunroof would not close completely. The truck was still under warranty, and the repair was covered at no charge. Recently the problem re-occurred. The truck is now out of warranty, and I was concerned that I was going to be stuck paying for an expensive repair. I returned the truck to Royal Moore, and explained the situation. The repair was done a second time at no charge, even though the truck is out of warranty, and it was over a year since the original repair (I was told that Royal Moore warrants their parts/labor work for 1 year). I appreciate them standing behind their work, and making this situation right.

They said they would have the parts, but after I brought my car in, they called me and told me they would have to keep it because they broke a part. When I finally came to get my car, they said it didn't work and they needed to keep it longer. They said they had put a part on backwards. When they finally gave my car back, I drove it 20 miles and it started overheating, and we found out they hadn't put any water into the radiator. When they fixed that, I took it back and I could tell there was still something wrong. I had to take my car back several more times to keep fixing their mistakes.

"It is with surprise that Royal Moore Auto Center has received the consumer complaint from this member. I can assure you that customer satisfaction is out top priority. We made some unfortunate, but human errors while servicing her vehicle and owned up to every one of them. As stated in our previous correspondence with the member, on each of her return visits, we provided her with courtesy transportation and made additional repairs at no charge to her. We reimbursed her for two brake rotors she had replaced at another shop and stated that the reimbursement was in no way setting a precedent and would not guarantee future reimbursement for work done at other shops. I do not have any knowledge of her having or needing a radiator replaced and the work we had previously performed on her vehicle in no way would cause a radiator failure. Her vehicle is now 7 years, 5 months and 17 days old with close to 70000 miles on it.I believe the member's vehicle needed a radiator replacement due to normal wear and tear. It is unfortunate that she chooses to no longer do business with Royal Moore Auto Center even though we did attempt to compensate her for her lost time by providing 6 Free Lube, Oil, & Filter Services. At this point, Royall Moore Auto Center will no longer be held responsible for any past or future issues with the member's vehicle."
