He has a property management at the same time and his was Bill. He's really reasonable and he really did good work when I've used him in the past. We couldn't do the work and he came out to do the work. He can do almost anything, he's a general contractor. He worked pretty reasonable, I thought. I would recommend them as long as I checked the construction board to make sure I have no claims against him. One thing is that he's only limited in the area and I can understand he didn't want to go and work in another area 24 miles from the house. It's just too far to go for him. He doesn't get out very quick because he's busy. He does good work but it takes him a while to get out. He's an independent contractor and he's friendly enough to do business.

When Zach Howell was with Real Handy, they did an excellent job on some projects for us. But Brian Fitzpatrick is now in charge and he did a terrible job with the work on our house. We had asked him to caulk some exterior butt joints and paint over them and then do a lot of small projects inside the house. He very rarely responded to our phone calls, caulked some of our butt joints and never continued the work when he said he would. We decided to have another contractor complete the work for us. I would strongly discourage other people from using Real Handy unless Zach Howell returns.

The workers were very nice. The overall job was acceptable and nothing major problems I came across with them. We had requested for something else but one of the handles was hammered in and was installed already to the door. So I asked them to replace it and I didn't receive a return reply. Until then they were really good, and I appreciate the work they did, and they finished the work, and I paid them. Then I noticed that they had not hammered a nail into the flat sliding door handle. May be they were not happy that I didn't ask for another work which I was planning to do with them. I still don't see this as an excuse just to ignore the customer's request. They can say this is the best they can do or can't do the work, I can still live with it. But they don't respond to you at all and i was very disappointed at the end. I was ashamed of the contact person but the workers were very nice. This left us in a very not happy situation and it was a shame; otherwise we were happy with the communication before we paid them. As for the price I didn't compare with others, but afterward I redid more work for other parts of the house. If I think about the time they took for them to do up the back log and the cost and time they took for the rest of the work it was very pricey. The workers were great. I will not use them in future.

It probably took 3 trips to get this thing right over a month's time. The first time it was that the new piece needed to be ordered, then it was the wrong piece, and finally the third time was a charm. The work done was fine and the worker was pleasant, but it was annoying to have this thing carry out for so long. I can't comment on the price b/c we're renting and the landlord received the bill.

I am very happy with the work Real Handy performed. It was easy to get an appointment. Zach came out and looked at what was needed and made sure that we all understood what was needed. The handymen arrived on time and were professional and knowledgeable. They worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. They were also fun to be around. Zach coordinated everything well. They had all the necessary equipment with them on their truck and knew what was expected of them.He answers phone calls and emails promptly and gave me a 10% Angie's discount. I will use them again.
