For the estimate Miguel met with me for 30 minutes and he answered questions about his company's construction process.  He was specific about the amount of concrete that his staff would use for each post.  He sent his estimate and his estimate was specific about materials for the fence including that the hardware would be galvanized.  The first day of work Miguel met with me and his staff and we walked the entire fence together.  Then his staff worked 4 days and finished the entire fence.  The workmanship of the fence is exceptional. 

Miguel and his team removed my old fence and installed a new fence for my yard. All work was completed in timely fashion at a very reasonable price.

I started off getting bids from 4 different contractors. MSD was the only one that bothered calling back and asking if I had any questions about the bid or if i wanted to go over it with them, which I thought was very professional. All the bids came in really close to each other and blew me away as far as the cost. I had wanted to do a large 750 sqft deck in composite but all the bids were around $17,000. We decided to scale back the project and go with cedar decking and so asked two of the companies to resubmit bids for 450 sqft of deck with cedar instead. Miguel from MSD actually came back over to our home to talk about ways to cut costs and help brainstorm ideas. When we got the quote back he included the options we had asked for i.e. having MSD do the entire deck and the option of us installing the decking. We went with MSD and had them do the entire deck. Since the bid came in considerably lower than the first it gave us the opportunity to have them do the dog run as well.
They showed up on a Friday and tore down the old deck (much of which was rotten) as well as the chain link dog run and then started building the deck on Monday. Everything went smoothly and they were able to accommodate a couple last minute design changes. The deck took a week or so longer than planned but the weather was horrible and it was over the Thanksgiving holiday. Casper and Felix were the two main workers and they did a terrific job and had great attitudes. Throughout the projects Miguel, the owner of MSD came out to inspect the project. He was very responsive to questions by phone and email. There were no surprises when we got the final bill and he made sure we were happy with the finished deck.
Now if only there would be a break in the weather I could actually go out and stain the deck.

OUTSTANDING! Miguel was recommended by two neighbors, who had much larger deck and fence jobs done by MSD. From a quick and personal response to my request for a bid, to scheduling and completion of a beautiful new fence, gate and entry deck, the work and experience with MSD was great. He beat bids from three larger Angies listed fencing companies. I recommend MSD without hesitation.
