I received a "love letter" from my HOA about the need to trim tree limbs that encroached on the sidewalk of the house. A week later I received a similar letter from City of Hillsboro about trimming limbs facing the street. I reached-out to Angi for pros to contact me. Madrone was the very first to reach out. I scheduled an estimate which was delivered with pictures of the actual tree and a list of work to be performed with a service quote. I agreed to terms and signed a contract via Docusign. Work was completed within 48 hours of me signing the contract. Work was completed to my satisfaction and work area was left clean (there was no trace of any tree limb trimming except for the obvious limbs being removed from the tree... in other words, all debris generated during this service was removed). I called Madrone day after for payment. Overall a smooth transaction. Thank you.

Madrone Tree Service did an amazing job getting some trees down in our front yard. Let me begin by saying this was NOT a small tree removal job as 2 of the trees were close to 10 feet tall. One was close to the street and the other was very close to the house. Madrone worked with PGE on our behalf to get them out to take one of the trees down below the power lines so they could work on that trees removal where other services we reached out told us they couldn't do the work until we reached out to PGE. This team was full service, start to finish. They came out to take down the trees they could handle while we waited for PGE to work on the larger tree. With trees of this size there was bound to be a lot of debris but they not only shredded what was left not he lawn, they organized the larger pieces into one area (which was awesome). Originally they had left about 6 to 8 feet of the first 2 trees trunks standing, which we didn't mind at all. We left the following day to run some errands and, when we came back we realized they had stopped back by in our absence and taken those trunks down the rest of the way and cleaned the yard a little more. We didn't even know they were coming back, that was just above and beyond! PGE came to work on the larger tree and it took them a couple of days to get it below the power lines (it was a tricky situation). After that first day, there were a LOT of limbs and branches covering the front yard (again, totally fine because they weren't done with the tree yet). Madrone Tree Service showed back up that same night and cleared all the debris and made the area ready for PGE the following day. When PGE came back to finish the job, they were impressed with the condition and preparation of the area. PGE said they weren't expecting that clean up and thought it was going to make their next day a little harder to try to work around all the debris. They were very pleasantly surprised. Overall, we can't express how grateful we were with Madrone Tree Service. Their professionalism and work ethic shines through. Their pricing was fair, reasonable, and competitive. Madrone Tree Service clearly takes great pride in their company and services. I highly recommend hiring them for any tree removal or landscaping needs you come up against!

Madrone Tree Service is a great family operation. They were already doing work for my neighbor and was able to fit in my tree job during the same visit the same day. Jose and Epifanio did a walkthrough and provided a very reasonable estimate for removing 5 large oak branches extending over our house. They carefully roped off the large branches, swung them away from the house, and lowered them to the ground without damaging the house or other landscaping. I will happily support this full family operation again.

I can't say enough positive things about Jose and his crew with Madrone Tree Service & Landscape Maintenance!!! I had a MASSIVE tulip tree that needed to be removed from my fairly small backyard. The tree had far outgrown the space, and was presenting a hazard both to my house and the house of my neighbor behind me. The tree was easily 80+ feet tall, with a huge, broad canopy. I consulted with several tree removal companies in the area and was met with a broad range of estimates. Because of the tree's size, several of the companies wanted me to book a crane, road crew, flaggers, etc. The budgets offered ranged from $6500 (no crane) to almost $13,000 with a crane. Some companies refused to even consider it without a crane because they said it would destroy my yard with all the debris without a crane. Also most companies were booked out so far, I couldn't have this done before January or February! I was overwhelmed. Then I met with Jose and his crew, and they told me they could do it without a crane, they could do it for $7100 (with full wood and debris removal, and a full stump grind) and they could have it done within two weeks. I thought it was too good to be true, but after reading all the positive reviews of Jose and his crews, I thought I'd roll the dice. They came out three days later, and got right to work. I was stunned with their professionalism and incredible skills with the roping, tying, and tethering, making it possible to bring down massive branch after branch into my yard, avoiding falls into the other yard, and keeping everything nice and tidy as they went along. You would think it was a huge crew of guys, but there was one man in the tree, two on the ground guiding the branches, and one on the other side of the fence feeding the branches into a chipper. They had completely cut the tree down to just the trunk by about 1pm, and then began the process of bringing down the trunk piece by piece and then cutting it into manageable pieces for removal (again, it was a HUGE tree). By the end of the day, they were down to a big pile of trunk pieces all over my yard. They calmly asked if they could come back tomorrow (Saturday) to finish picking up all the pieces and final cleanup. The next day, they got right to work, and by noon, every piece of that tree was gone. I couldn't believe how INCREDIBLE my yard looked. You would never know an entire work crew had been there, and a tree of that size had just been removed, by hand, without a crane. I know this is long-winded, but I really wanted to paint a picture of how INCREDIBLE Jose and his crew with Madrone were with removing my tree. I'd barely slept a few nights before the crew arrived because I'd been given so many horror stories from other companies, telling me that if I didn't spend $12,000, it would be impossible to remove the tree, or that my yard would be a pile of mush and would need an entire re-landscaping in the spring, or that I'd have to wait until spring to have this done. But then Jose and his crew put all those worries at ease, and made the tree removal so quick and painless. Please, please make sure you hire this company for your work. I think it's a smaller company, so we need to support local and make sure companies like this, who do things the right way, and take care of their customers in every way possible, continue to grow and thrive in our town!

Responsive to my inquiry and timely to my first appointment. I was quoted a fair price to remove a large tree. The tree was removed professionally and the area was cleaned afterwards. I would definitely work with Madrone Tree service again!

Jose and associate showed up when agreed and I’m so happy with their work. They removed one tree completely, but my main concern was the large tree that needed pruning. It looks better than expected.
