They did an excellent job. I would recommend them.

I was unhappy with their service because it took us five months to get the job done correctly. He was very slow and it took him several times to do the job correctly. I was told if I had any problems with the job I had to get in touch of the subcontractor which was a nightmare to try and resolve. The price wasn't worth the service because the work wasn't completed properly. The workmanship was unprofessional. They were very unresponsive to my issues I had with the poor work.

They did a very good job. They were clean and did the job within the quoted time. The craftsmanship was excellent. The quality was excellent and the price, I thought, was reasonable.

The subcontractor that did the work, did a great job. We'd higher him anytime to work on our home. Once we decided to use this company to do the installation, things moved slowly and what we wanted got a little mixed up. We still have not received our printed final bill as of 2/26/11. We paid in full, but bill of sale yet

Tony came to measure for an estimate. He also brought carpet samples. he was quick returning a quote. Todd arranged for the installation and came by before, during and after the installation. Jerry and Omar were very diligent with installation, being very careful not to damage the newly painted walls.

The job was much bigger than I expected - or anyone for that matter - as moisture had caused crumbling of the floor under the carpet along edges and in corners. They worked through the weekend to make up time. Tony himself did a lot of the repair. The carpet that they installed is beautiful and it's so nice to know the floors are solid and safe now. They were more than fair in all pricing, actually coming in slightly less than estimated.

Todd Scarpelli of Floor Coverings International provided a comprehensive, through bid. Of all bidders he clearly demonstrated strong understanding of the needs of the project. He was the only one to focus on the challenges of the subfloor work and the special focus on the stairs as an important component of the job. He was professional, followed up on every detail daily, and delivered what he said he would, always on time. His installer, Terrrance was of the highest order. His attention to detail and excellence as a craftsman was top order. He showed up every day as established, and frankly far exceeded our expectations on every aspect of the installation. Finally, we appreciated Todd's follow up, attention to detail, and he always went the extra step to ensure our satisfaction. I highly recomend this vendor and plan to hire them in the future for other floor related projects. I wish every contractor experience was as positive as ours with Todd, his installer Terrance, and the company overall.

My Realtor recommend Floor Covering International and from my first phone call to Tony Evers, the owner, to the actual installation and wrapup, it was a great experience. After my first phone call, when he started to educate me, to my meetings at his office, where he continued to educate me, I quickly realized this was someone who was not only professional but extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of flooring, which was the only service I was investigating. He showed me samples of possibilities, we discussed prices of hardwood, laminite, bamboo, my lifestyle, and my preferences. While I was going through the mortgage loan process he gave me a written bid which was very fair. Then, just before the loan was approved he met me at the condo property and brought paint samples and advised me on which wall should be accented, which was not the one I'd originally picked, but he was right. I thought I wanted a dark red and again he advised me to a different color and he was right again. He is a perfectionist, while being casual and considerate; not being critical, but advising the customer in a very professional manner. After the property closing, he immediately had his workman come and remove the baseboards and old carpeting. Then he waited until the interior was painted. Then his workers came back and made the flooring installation, including new baseboards, working around another contractor's schedule doing my bathtub resurfacing. The job was done beautifully, professionally, on time and everything was hauled away and cleaned up, including taking away old broken shower doors. Those doors had nothing to do with Tony's contract but he did it as a favor, which saved me time and money not having to deal with it. I cannot say enough good things about Floor Coverings International, Tony Evers, and his crew! I would not hesitate to highly recommend them for any products and/or services they preform.

Our realtor recommended Floor Coverings Int'l as a company that could provide quick and reliable service for replacing old carpet in the home we were selling. Tony came to our home, showed us several options in several price ranges, did not try to push us too hard towards the pricier options (we were just looking for basic carpet), and gave good advice on color coordination with our walls and existing other floors. We ended up getting a quote for similar work (though without the range of options for carpet) from a Big Box Home Improvement Store, and Tony matched the price (~$300 less). We were able to schedule the work quite quickly (just before Thanksgiving, so not a really easy time of year), and the installer was very competent. The installer was quite good and the whole house was done quickly. They worked around a handyman who was doing some work in one of the bedrooms. They also sealed up a cracking linoleum seam in the kitchen as part of the deal.

Tony is the consummate professional. He had great recommendations and price points considered just after surveying our two bathrooms. All of them were spot on. We chose his higher-end tile recommendation because of its custom-appeal and economy - it was a great value and look for the price. The carpet removal and tile install went very smoothly and was completed in the expected time frame. His installer was well-skilled, showed up on time, and was minimally invasive. Mess was also minimal and taken care of by the installer. All we had to do was to put everything back into the bathroom when he was finished. And although the original floor had noticeable bumps, divots, and squeaks, the new product was perfectly flat and noiseless, making it that much more striking and elegant. His project coordinator came by a few days later to wrap things up and insure that we received the product and service expected. No complaints here at all, but glad that Tony has someone coming in at the end to make sure that the customer is satisfied. The look of the end product is really great. We will definitely be calling Tony for any of our future flooring work!

We recently bought a house that needed a bit of remodeling, and we discovered that we had been overly ambitious about how much we could do ourselves. Tony was recommended by a family member, and we could not be more thrilled with the work he has done for us, always with professionalism and great follow-through. Most impressive, he has creatively worked with our limited budget to make the most of our dollars. On multiple occasions, I have asked his advice in choosing paint color, landscaping, or for help with small repairs. Although he occasionally indicates that something is outside of his realm of expertise, I have been amazed at the breadth of his skill level. Tony will be the first person I call for any remodeling for many years to come, and we recommend him without reservation to anyone considering new flooring.
