But: they really just did the bare minimum they had bid on, and when it became apparent that I (first time home builder) hadn't specified all the necessary details, they didn't bother to point this out to me, but just did the bare minimum and gave me a really arrogant attitude when they'd left and I called and asked them to make some changes/additions.
All these things were my fault, but they never bothered to sit down with me at the start of the job, look at the plans, and say "you need more information on this plan. Where do you want X?".
So the reason I wouldn't use them again could well be entirely my own fault, but in the end I didn't feel very good about the interaction, and would not choose to use them again.
So, use them if you are a contractor and want the very specific work done, by the book. They appear to know what they are doing and they seem to be overall nice and reasonable guys. But , if you don't know what you're doing, this may not be the best match.
