I was very pleased with both Jay and the final report provided on the inspection performed. The report was almost 30 pages and included photos of all the problems he noted. The report was delivered that evening so there was no delay waiting for the outcome. Very important with the timelines when purchasing a house. I don't knwo how Jay's price compares to other inspectors, but with the quality of work I have no complaints and am very pleased. I would use Jay again and highly recommend him to anyone I know.

Our experience with Jay was great. He accommodated my request to come by on a Sunday morning, with short notice. He had already begun inspecting the exterior of the house when I had arrived, and spent about 3.5 hours with us, examining every nook and cranny of the house and explaining it all to us as he went. The final report was about 30 pages long, full of great photographic documentation, and very thorough and readable. 

I'd recommend Jay and Carson Inspection Service without hesitation.

I have used many different inspectors in my job as a real estate agent but they did an excellent job of explaining to their clients what the issues are. They write a very detailed report. Their reports are much more in detail than any other inspection companies I have used. That?s the main thing. His construction experience is very helpful in putting any issues into perspective. I use them most of the time. I would use their services again in the future.

Jay arrived on time and impressed me with his professionalism during the entire visit. He was thorough and observant, finding many small problems and issues in a little over 2 hours that I would never have caught myself. The 20 page report covering the interior and exterior was also impressive; 16 pages with photos as needed, and a 4 page itemized summary. The reasonable cost of his service was money well-spent, more than I could have imagined. There are other inspectors in town but I don't see how any of them could surpass Jay Hensleigh. Highly recommended.
