custom cabinets
 + -1 moreCarlos again came to the house to replace a door in one of the new kitchen cabinets that had a flaw in it that we had not noticed when installed. At the same time, he discussed our bedroom office project, and took some of our layout initial drawings with him to review. A few days latter we discussed materials, his suggestions, construction elements, and features that we wanted in the project. Again, he went to work and built all of the parts, and then scheduled an installation date. It took only about a week to build the units, and put the finish on them. Installation, again was perfect and efficiently done. We used some composite materials that we had learned about that come from Roseburg Lumber and Carlos guided us in their use. The craftmanship again was perfection. What we learned from these two projects is that there are a lot of alternatives and choices in cabinet making that are close in cost but miles apart in quality of craftmanship and a true professional like Carlos will guide you in making those choices. Just can't say enough good things about Carlos Cabinets.
Description of Work: Carlos has been a custom cabinet maker for many years. He and his helpers in the Fall of 2009 built custom cabinets for a kitchen remodel in our home. The craftmanship was just excellent. He came to the house and discussed with my wife and I what we wanted and then came back with some suggestions and an estimate within 4 or 5 days. He timed the installation with the contractor who was doing the kitchen remodeling. When the kitchen was ready he & crew installed the complete kitchen cabinets -- uppers & lowers. They are just bueatiful, and very precise. Everything went together per plan. The craftmanship was outstanding. This project cost about $8,000 dollars. It had been bid by others for considerably higher sums. We were so pleased with results in the kitchen that we asked him to build some cabinets and desk tops for an office layout in one of our bedrooms. He bid this project at the $3,800 dollar amount.
