Pilot  light had been going out about  every three months and hard to re start so they fixed the problem

To be honest I've been wondering if Angie's list was giving me quality leads or I'm just helping find bad apples for everyone else? However, I have nothing but the utmost in praise for Antrim Heating and Air Conditioning! First of all, Bill the owner, went out of this way to accommodate my schedule to look at my furnace. I had been told by another furnace tech that the heat exchanger had cracked and the furnace needed replacing. Bill being a rarity in business today disagreed (which mind you he could have easily talked me into purchasing a new furnace). Besides an igniter and a vacuum tube needing replaced the furnace is fine! I have nothing but the highest regards for Bill's ethic when it comes to how he treats his customers. Bill is selling his business after 40 years but will be working for the new owner, one can only hope the new owner upholds his great business ethics. Thanks Bill.

Bill advised us on what would work best for our home and for our lifestyle and budget. He got the permits and contacted the duct cleaning service we would need to have come in. All work was done within about 5 or 6 hours of arrival. They were quick, professional and competent. When there was a snafu with the inspection, he came out immediately to get the county the documentation necessary to resolve the issue. Less than 12 hours later, all was resolved. While he was out getting the documentation, Bill noticed that the air conditioning seemed to be struggling, he did not leave until he found and fixed it. Ethics and pride in his work kept him on the job, until he was satisfied with his work. Rare nowadays.!

Two weeks ago I received my annual reminder phone call regarding setting up a time for service. At the time, my husband was in the hospital so they offered to call me back in a week. They called back as promised and scheduled the appointment for the following week. Bill showed up exactly on time and asked how my husband was doing. A personal touch that was appreciated. My husband was still requiring a lot of care so Bill just proceeded to do the necessary work without taking any of my time. He cleaned everything up and told me about some potential issue with the chimney that should be looked at when the chimney sweep came. We have been using Antrim's for many years. The reminder calls are great as it would be something easy to forget. They have also showed up promptly when we have had a problem with the furnace. Bill is very professional and personable. Cannot imagine using anyone else.

This is how things go on Fantasy Island, not in the real world! He worked two and one half hours and only charged us for two.

After I called, Antrims was out the next day. They did a thorough cleaning and made a solid and fair evaluation of the condition of the furnace ( 20 yrs old). I appreciated the honesty and quality of the work. I will definitely be contacting them for future furnace and a/c service.

This firm is a one man operation and has done service work for me at our home and on a rental home we have over the past 20 plus years or so. We feel Mr. Hickox is very honest and does exceptional work at a reasonable price. He likes to stick to the basics and proven systems. He has proven to be punctual and trustworthy. He simply does what he says he will do and does it expertly.

WE HAVE USED ANTRIM'S HEATING FOR 40 YEARS. BILL IS THOROUGH IN HIS ATTEMPT TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF A PROBLEM WITH THE FURNACE. HE IS PROMPT AND HONEST IN HIS ESTIMATION AS TO WHAT SHOULD BE DONE.
