From when I walked into the shop to when the job was completed was only one hour! Gil, the manager is friendly and professional .Ryan, the master mechanic who performed the job is very knowledgeable and skilled. I also bought a can of 44K fuel system cleaner. So for a total cost of $79.64 it was a job done quickly, done well, and at a reasonable price. I'll definitely be back!
Before trying Accurate Auto, I actually had thought that maybe the OTHER Nissan dealership in the area (Beaverton) might be better and before the power steering issue stopped in when the car dash indicator showed low tire pressure. The service guy pulled the car in, and 20 min later he told me there was no problem with the tire other than being a little low on nitrogen/air and it was likely a faulty sensor but that they added some air. This didnt really make sense to me, and when I questioned he was fairly condescending and told me that tire pressure could vary monthly due to weather and such. Guess what? The next day , the reading worsened, and I could visibly see that the tire was low. I went back to the Wilsonville Nissan dealer (instead of the Beaverton location), and they said the tire had a puncture and needed patching or replacement.
So. The moral of the story is, YES, you can find reliable auto repair. You dont have to be at the mercy of the dealer. I will add that in addition to explaining, breaking down costs and often showing the repair issues to you, for the power steering line issue, Accurate Auto in Beaverton came in about $100 less than the quoted price I got from the Wilsonville Nissan dealer. The staff at Accurate has been helpful, patient, knowledgeable AND after nine months all is well with the car. One less thing to worry about.
"We have made every attempt to resolve this matter. Our attempts have been properly documented and recognized by the BBB. This customer refuses to allow us to make this situation right. We have always resolved any and all concerns from our customers. We still offer to fix her turn signal and column covers. She refuses. This is her decision."
